It’s been a while since the last time you read one of my comments, probably because most of are too long like that one. 😆 Seeing you at the apartment is a nice change of pace, though the Lodge will always be the place that feels more like home for you both.

I love my snood/gator (whatever it's called)! I don't always have to wear it over my face, it adds nice protection to stop wind around my neck, without all the extra material from a long scarf hanging around. You can also tighten the toggle all the way so that it closes one end - then you have a beanie hat as well (without the pompom ball on top). Great vlog today!

Nick I totally agree with you. I have social anxiety when in uk towns, going out etc. however when in Disney world or on a cruise. No issues what so ever. I think when your around like minded people it rubs off on you.

Nick, we have a home in Alaska (hubby is Alaskan) temperatures in Alaska can reach the 90’s in summer. It’s only cold in winter/fall - don’t miss out on this stunningly beautiful place - go in summer.

Hope you continue with your vlogs you both keep me going have been a godsend as I have been poorly with two infections one after the other and watching you both when I could not do much has kept my spirits up up. Hope you are both well. Loved all the new clothes you sure will need them for DLP XXX
I'm on the year of firsts too after losing my wife. Only two to go; her birthday next month and then the anniversary of her passing. I expect things will get easier from then on.
On a more cheerful subject, Bob Mortimer's autobiography is a fantastic read. He's led an interesting life.
Please don't ever quit I am addicted to your vlogs they brighten my days and I've got my husband and daughter watching too.

My heart goes out to you I lost my mum will be four years this year in November and I lost my dad will be a year in march it never really gets easier but we do learn to live and cope with it a little more each day. I’m sure she is very proud of everything you do and have accomplished and when you go visit all the places you told her would she will be right there with you ❤
I recently set up a VPN as well, opens up so much more content, it's great! Not sure how I discovered your channel, think it was when I was searching something on the movie Flight of the Navigator, lol, and you two popped up.
So for the Canadian train trip they have Rocky Mountaineer it is a gorgeous trip.
We was in Disney world last year October/November we paid mostly with cash everywhere very rarely used card in the parks so to the person who asked yes you can still use cash xx
We go to Weatherspoon on a Sat, market' on in Mold in NorthWales. 2xPint's for less then£5.00. And I love the Curry's.

I think the toggle on the neck snood is meant to be at the top and you can tuck the bottom into your jumper or jacket to keep your neck warm. The toggle lets you tighten it like a turtle neck or loosen to pull up when very windy ie: skiing downhill 🫶🏻
Lost my mum last week suddenly its still raw and doesn't seem real feel lost 😢 am sure grieving process we learn to live we never move on or get over it but maybe we learn to live with the change xxx
Hi guys, Nick, I know exactly what you mean when you said "escapism" when you visit disney. We dont do disney , we prefer the gulf coast of Florida now. Anna Maria Island, I love, Clearwater, Sarasota etc.... all those places is escapism to me. Any where in Florida, I love. As soon as we arrive at the airport I just feel like a different person, relaxed, excited and happy to be there. Leigh, I can recommend Dawn French 's autobiography written in 2008, called Dear Fatty. I too love reading autobiographies, Miriam Margolyes was a hoot. Take care both and keep on vlogging. ❤❤
Love a shopping trip with you. I’m with Nick, Fool Me Once was too slow but it seems to be the same on these Netflix, Amazon Prime stories….. spin it out as long as possible over many episodes. FYI autobiography- written by the person, biography - written by someone else. My favorite reads as well Leigh. Suggestion, if you make it to Jackson Hole … bit of a long drive heading east but on the other side of the state is Devil’s Tower State Park (Close Encounters of the Third Kind)
I’ve been quite fortunate and been to some media events in Orlando and met Tim Tracker a few times and met Super Enthused and Sam at the iron Gwazi event, still haven’t met Paging Mr Morrow or JoJo yet though

Her dad was a reyt bad sod to her, & her life with Ozzy! Well!! You can hear her voice saying things as ya reading, some hilarious moments too.
I’m from Northallerton North Yorks and I hadn’t heard of the term Nesh either until my mother in law and husband called me it, they are from Sheffield South Yorks.
When you get all the ‘firsts’ done it seems so very strange. I felt as though I was losing my connection to my dad, but now I find myself saying I did that so often with Dad. Like they say we adapt. 😊

I'm also Nesh Nick, to me it means feeling cold when everyone else says it's not cold, I hate the cold too, try Alska in July, you will love it I'm sure, dodge the mosquitoes though, they're a pain in the a*** !

Canadian here who has travelled the train from Toronto to Vancouver. NOTE ALL freight trains have right of way over passenger trains. You need patience & no set time line on your final destination (24-48hrs delay). Did not leave Toronto until pass midnight, common occurrence. You can be in a lay by while multiple freight trains pass by. Went through the Rockies in the middle of the night. But I loved my adventure, good food & enjoyed the train travel.
Recommend taking bus trip from Calgary to Vancouver. Great way to see & feel the terrain.
I listened to you talk about your mom on this Vlog, Nick and honest to God, was having the same thoughts today about “firsts”. I am coming up on the one year anniversary of losing my dad and this week was so difficult. I can remember everything from every day leading up to his passing and I feel the same way about just wanting to get through them. So hard. Can completely relate to what you said.
We say Nesh and Iam from Liverpool funny enough when Leigh was getting the thermals we said he was Nesh 😂. Parks still accept cash jst got back from WDW I paid cash in stores and resorts and DLP still accepts cash too.
