My Grandfather sang this, said when I was about three or four now I'm 66, that it was a song he learned from his great-grandpa and Grandpa it was a family song so I have seen this just about forever and never have forgotten my Apache roots even though I'm mixed with Spanish the ocean Ukrainian Russian my nose and everything except for the blue eyes well that could be Apache my grandfather was a blue out of patchy but pure just brings home my grandfather which I love to dearly he was my life I don't go a day without missing him all these years I was 18 when he passed away and that piece of my heart is still broken thank you for posting this song I love you for that
This song be on REPEAT in my car, on my headphones at work. I just can't get enough. Once again MORE POWER TO you 3 gentlemen. May the universe move in your favor.
My family became disconnected from our Apache culture and heritage when my mom left at 17 to marry my dad. My sisters and I are reconnecting and I am so greatful to find videos such as yours. Thank you for sharing!
Im 3/4 Navajo and 1/4 Hopi. From Tuba City Az. I remember my grandmother, taking me as a very young person. To listen to Apache. Ome Love! Thank you guys.💚
This song has brought me so much peace. I listened to it the night before my biopsy check for cancer. When my husband and I lost our son I listened to it. Now again I'm starting the journey of trying to conceive again. And I need this peace and strength.
Wonderful, thank you! It's great to see you Apaches hold onto your roots and water them. It will become a big strong tree again. Kind regards from Germany.
@@hailoweenhailoween5264 Thank you for calling me a friend. Well, our ancestors... , their knowledge and spirit was "buried" already about 1400 years ago. I can also imagine that they also considered Mother Nature as brotherly/sisterly and not as a slave to be subjugated. Fortunately, however, a few tender shoots are sprouting again in our country, which would like to revive this spirit. All the best for you

My Great Ma said, "She is glad to see the young ones playing so fine." But, she wishes there would be a fire to dance about. While playing in the night.
Thought I'd give this a try while I did some class discussions and found myself moving to beat. This is really good, beautiful drumming and voices. Keep it up, y'all!
