Just as context when Rhaenyra finds the dragon wing and Luces' cloak. Arrax (Lucerys’ dragon) is also son of Syrax (Rhaenyra’s dragon)… so both mothers are mourning in this scene
Eeh. Dragons seem to disregard their bond with their children for their bond with their rider. So she likely felt Rheanyra’s pain more than she felt for her dead offspring-if she did at all.

"It's not a Your Grace moment, it's a Mama moment." My words exactly. That scene perfectly encapsulated that moment in which a person and their mom just need to hug each other and cry. So powerful.
@@carlosriveraauthor late here but it also showed the contrast between Rheanyra and Allicent as mothers so far the whole show as been brilliant again x
If you notice when the guy asks daemon what to do if they can’t get to aemomd , daemon looks at him and grins essentially saying that he doesn’t care which son they kill if aemond can’t be caught as long as it’s a son
He didn't grin or smile, lol. I mean, he might have given them okay after the scene ended, but we never saw it, and it's left ambiguous. Why are lots of people claiming he smiled?
@@MyUniqueVibeshow writers also didn’t want to put that in so people like you can continue to pretend like the Blacks can do no wrong and blame it on some random rogue agents instead
Cole was only sworn to guard Alicent herself. The bigger question is why don't Helena and her children have their own guards (like they do in the book)?
Cole was assigned to Alicent. Three kingsguard sided with Rhaenyra and Harold Westerling quit so since the show hasn’t mentioned replacements I think it may be safe to assume that as of right now there’s only three kings guard in the red keep. Which kinda explains the light security
"Where is duty? Where is sacrifice?" Meanwhile she's getting it on with Criston. Also, what happened to Criston's honour? He cried about it when he slept with Rhaenyra but now he's forgotten about it.
Isnt it obvious? Criston was searching for duty and sacrifice In between alicents legs! And alicent was was riding cristons hightower to search for honor!
Thank im glad im not the only one annoyed by this. He in the same situation as the beginning but seems ok with this, why? Alicents dad is not going to ler her marry him.
What the actor who plays Aegon had to say about his relationship to his kids: “This is the thing viserys never did for aegon. He feels part of the reason he’s not seen as suited is because he did not receive training from his father. So now he’s going to make up for that tenfold with Jahaerys.”
Dude didn’t receive that type of training because he wasn’t the heir 😂 that’s kinda the whole problem. Also viserys wouldn’t force one of the top lords of the realm give rhaenyra a piggyback ride because that is disrespectful and doesn’t create a good leader
@@Zarab923 I’m aware of that, but it can’t be understated what it does to a child to be the first in a long line first born targaryen sons to be cast aside for his sister while being abandoned by his father. It wasn’t just about naming Rhaenyra heir, he treated his children by Alicent like they were not his blood which ensured they would all grow up feeling unloved and resent their sister for being the chosen one.
@@Zarab923 Viserys gave none of his kids bar Rheanyra any attention. He was a failure as a father. Aegon for all his faults did much better and again he turns into an okay leader. Definitely not the worst in Westeros or Targaryen history not by a bloody long shot.
Keep in mind, that was syrax' baby as well :( They were both mourning their child. Also Helena was literally sewing in Jaeherys shroud for his funeral WHILE telling aegon she is scared of the rats. I guess we need to realize she is a big source of information for whatever is to come in the episode's future lmao
@Megasaurusify no, they didn't. Dragons feel their rider's emotions, Rhaenyra cried so Syrax cried. No subtitle popped up on screen saying "Syrax is crying because oh yeah btw Arrax was her son and oh yeah btw dragons actually care about that". If dragons care so much, how is Daemon able to find three eggs completely abandoned by Syrax? How is the Cannibal able to eat numerous eggs and hatchlings if their parents are so caring? How are the dragons able to fight each other in the first place if their familial bonds are so incredibly strong, because there is literally no possible way that there aren't dragons closely related across the lines.
Fun fact: Syrax is mother to Vermax, Arrax and Tyraxes (the dragons of Rhaenyra's 3 oldest sons) so when Rhaenyra is mourning over the remains on the beach, Syrax is grieving along with her. So damn sad.
Being a GoT fan, I'm no stranger to horrific violence but those last few minutes hearing the sound of the poor baby's head being taken is probably going to be one of the most haunting moments in TV history for me. So messed up!
Sir Criston was supposed to be guarding and protecting and instead he was with Alicent. That’s why she was looking around in shock, she was looking for the guards:/
Aegon isn’t the worst king believe it or no. He’s actually more intelligent than you think, seeing that Viserys taught him almost nothing. Lounges on the throne yet not one cut…
As if Viserys was supposed to teach him that. He's not Viserys's heir. Wasn't Otto and Alicent supposed to educate him instead? Coz they made him usurp, so they were totally in charge of his education.
@@happilyevernever4289 to make it clear for you (idk if you know) FATHERS are supposed to teach ALL of their children on education, morals, and any other characteristically traits that are needed- just as much as mothers. Stop taking the responsibility away from him just because you like him loll
@@happilyevernever4289he still could have taught his other kids something about being a ruler. Yes, Otto should have secretly been teaching aegon since he had planned to usurp the entire time. But also, what would have happened if Rhaenyra couldn’t have children and died somehow? Or someone didn’t like her so they killed her and her kids.
I think you guys are missing the point of the Aegon scene, he isn’t being a “tool” as you called him, he’s trying to be a good king and rule in his own way by helping the petitioners but his grandfather keeps trying to control him
In the books, it's much more gruesome. Blood and Cheese (as history remembers them as.) snuck into the queen's chambers. Took Alicent captive and gagged her. When Helaena came in with her 3 children (in the books, she had the twins Jaehaerys and Jaehaera. As well as a younger son, Maelor.) Blood and Cheese snatch Maelor and Jaehaerys and hold knives to their throats. Bidding Helaena choose which of her sons will die in payment for Lucerys' death. At first, Helaena pleads for them to kill her instead, but they persist. And add that if she doesn't choose. Everyone in the room will die. To which Helaena with great sorrow chooses Maelor to die. To which Cheese whispers in his ear. "You hear that boy? Your mama wants you dead." Before Blood cuts off Jaehaerys' head with one swing of his sword. Taking the heat away and leaving Helaena to scream in sheer horror.
@@nanssbigs7945 You would be very surprised how little power he actually has. They don't give a shit about what he wants/doesn't want. They keep asking him to come back because it's good publicity for book fans.
This. I wish they kept the brutality more intact. I get not showing the kid's death on screen, anyone with a brain knew they weren't going to show that. But they could have kept everything else in to further emphasize the brutality and degeneracy of that moment. But, oh no, because they changed it to be on Damon's orders, they had to weaken the moment into a bumbling assassination attempt so that Damon still looks like a good guy. News flash: Damon is a war criminal, always has been. The entire portion of the Dance was one big fuck up, with both sides doing terrible things, and the show is doing a poor job bringing attention to that.
To make it clear, it was Deamon's order to kill the boy. When the assassins asked what they should do if they did not find Aemond, the show cut to another scene without an answer to this question. But this answer came in the conversation between the two assassins, that it should be a son for a son. Killing the child was therefore Deamon's alternative. Helena had the vision with the rats (the maid remembered Helena's warning when the assassin stood in front of her). I think she had already seen the death of her son and wanted to change the future. That's why she pointed directly to her son, hoping the killers wouldn't believe her. In her vision, she may have pointed to her daughter and the killers didn't believe her and killed her son. Now she knows that the future is fixed and cannot be changed. Another possibility would be that she immediately pointed to the son so that she wouldn't lose both children. If the killers had killed the daughter, her son would have died on the throne as king at the latest, if not earlier in the fight for it. A throne that her son may not have wanted anyway. At least that's what she told her husband. So she pointed to her son so that at least she wouldn't lose her daughter, because in this world women are less at risk. By the way, there is still at least one male heir to the throne of Aegon. In case it was forgotten, Aegon fathered at least one son in the children fighting pits. We saw a son of his there last season. And I think when the time comes, the gray worm will intervene, because she knew what was going on, as did the twins and I think Aemond too (not sure).
I can’t imagine that Daemon even thought of the children. He’s so focused on like war it makes much more sense for him to prefer Aegon or Criston or Otto if not Aemond. I guess taking away Aegon’s heir is also something that hurts Aegon’s claim since Maelor doesn’t exist but killing a kid doesn’t help them get the throne so it’s stupid they wasted the element of surprise to kill a kid instead of the lord commander or the hand of the king or the king
MAJOR SPOILERS WARNING: actually in the book aegon and halaena had another kid! maelor! but he ends up dying too. they wont honor the bastard child he has in the pits as it would have been hypocritical for them to put that one on the throne. besides in any royal history, bastard children dont typically have a claim to the throne. rhaenyra's kids are different as officially on paper they were laenor's kids. fathering a child with a random woman from a brothel or elsewhere wouldnt be acknowledged, much less honored. when aegon died Aegon the third (rhaenyra's 4th child) becomes the king and he ends up marrying jaehaera (the other twin) since all his older brothers (jacaerys, lucerys and joffrey) would have been dead by then and it would have been extremely hypocritical of the greens if they suddenly made jaehaera the heir. Aegon's bloodline dies out (as jaehaera died before she got the chance to have children) and its rhaenyra's bloodline that continues all the way down to daenerys.
You’re gunna get tons of people telling you about pronouns soon just saying lol. I just use Emma’s name instead. Makes my life easier than trying to pretend one person is somehow a plural pronoun
@@Zarab923 Singular they/them actually first showed up as a singular pronoun in 1375! It's used often when someone doesn't know the gender of a person, for instance I have no idea if you're either he/him or she/her, so without that knowledge I would refer to you as they/them until I learn otherwise!
@@astalothbrok4902 You don't know this person's gender because you haven't seen them. Every sane person will assume another person's gender based on looks. If they are wrong, then they'll be corrected at one point and move on. We know Emma was born a woman, the OP is not wrong by addressing Emma with "her". I don't have an equivalent of "them" in my language that can be used to address a person without sounding like an idiot.
Otto has sense. Aegon needs to have both. The exact same thing happened with young Rheanyra and Otto when she was choosing her kingsguard. She was only thinking of their fighting skills and not bothering to consider other important factors like political influence. But Aegon at least listened to Otto and analyzed the situation. Rheanyra ignored him. So I must give Aegon credit here.
@@rexibhazoboa7097Yeah, but the kingsguard should be the best fighters. Not from the best houses. I mean, look at Duncan the Tall. One of the most famous knights of the kingsguard and yet was born in flea bottom. Living the life of a hedge knight until Aegon the 5th became king and Duncan was named to the kingsguard.
@@philippeblais8594 oh I agree, in a perfect world. My point was that Rheanyra didn’t consider Otto’s words. Shouldn’t a ruler consider the advices of their advisors? She was young and inexperienced, yet didn’t try to learn from her senior. From that moment, Otto probably thought she would be hard to train (and control). Just a flaw I picked up.
@@rexibhazoboa7097 Oh sure, and while I do agree, Rhaenyra could have been a bit more respectful of the other knights in attendance. Hearing them all out before choosing. But I feel like Otto was trying to get a knight of the Kingsguard based on their house. Not based on their skill at arms.
Sooooo Criston wasn't there when Aemond got his eye sliced out and he wasn't there when the heir got his head chopped off... he keeps getting promoted and now he's also fcking the Queen... Fire him. He doesn't take his job serious.
Someone blew up the sound and it sounds like Helaena is saying “they only want the boy” and when she says I’m afraid of the rats she looks at her baby’s bed. They also speculate that she is unknowingly sowing her sons funeral shroud, there’s also drawings she’s doodled of her dragon dreams and she drew a boar, a decapitated wolf, and a dead baby 😭
The dude who plays Jace really kills it in that scene with Rhaenyra. You can clearly see how hard he's trying to get together, but he couldn't, cause he needed his mom's warm hug, just like she needed his, and the way he chockes in his words is just heartbreaking!
the twins in the kingsguard were actually 18 when sworn to their duty. they say age weird, 8 and (+) 10 lol rhaenyra mentioned last season aswell that she was made heir at the age of 4 and 10 (14) when speaking with Lucerys
Silly me. I have read the numbers like that in the books countless times, but I didn't think of that when they said this. I foolishly thought they were appointed two years apart, and both when they were children. I am just shaking my head at myself now.

Heleana sees the future, she knows one will die or all 3 of them die, so she chose to save her daughter. And there isn't anything established that you can change what she sees. She probably knows everything she sees comes true. And when they asked, 'what if we can't find him' Daemon grinned. That was part of his plan. Aemond and Daemon keep f'ing things up for everyone else. Aegon despite his naivety he was pretty kind during the audiences. And he clearly loved his son. He's going to want revenge at all cost.
I'll say this: the throne scene was frustrating to me. I'm not on either green or black side but the way Otto kept going up there made Aegon look weak, impressionable and indecisive. I don't understand why they didn't find out what each petitioner wanted ahead of time so Aegon was already informed of the pros and cons and not only know his answer, but also have an explanation for said answer prepared. That would have made him look like a confident, thoughtful and fair ruler.
It is beyond insane that Otto has been planning to usurp the throne for longer than Aegon was alive and he didn’t think to teach him one single thing about how to rule. Like wtf 😬
I mean Alicent & Otto basically talked about them ruling once Aegon got bored of it. I don't know if they want him to be a great king, but yea, Otto having to go back and forth isn't a great look for either of them, lol.
When did Cersie ever light a candle in memory of someone else's son, when no one's watching? I don't see any comparison between Cersie and Alicent. Cersie was pure evil.
I alway say Alicent played the hand she was dealt from wayyyy when she was young. Don't see anything remotely wrong with that character. Maybe a little brass with convincing her son to take the throne from his sister but which mother wouldn't. She's just unfortunate to be in that situation.
Yeah Cersei only cared for her kids, and to a certain extent her father and Jaime. Alicent wants everything to be peaceful, which is just not going to happen. Even Aemond said “She holds love for the enemy”
Daemon 100% told them to kill the prince when they asked "What if we can't find him?" They repeat the same phrase with Helaena that Daemon had used earlier in the episode with Rhaenys "A son for a Son".
I actually liked Aegon this episode. I am shocked. He was nice with the small folks and you could see how much he loved his son. But now they have cut off his beloved son's head. You will see the full demon come out, I'm afraid. lol
yeah they made him look better, than he is, he wasnt liked by the smallfolk, and he didnt care about them one bit neither did he care for his wife or his children. i mean he literally bets on kids in the fighting pit
@@ileana823100that's really not true. Even baela in the books watched the children fighting in the pits. Aegon loved his family and only took the throne to protect them in the books,it isn't mentioned whether he was loved by smalfolk or not but neither was rhaenyra so..
Aegon is the most human character. He by no means love the small folk but he tried his best to be nice to them at least on a surface level cause when all his life that he spent living as a good-for-nothing, the small folk are what made him feel "something" on his coronation ceremony.
I think because Viserys never trained him to be a king and he himself felt Viserys I "didn't like me". He wants to be a good father and do what Viserys didn't. Sadly, it comes when Daemon orders his boy killed if they couldn't find Aemond.
@@lol-oe1md I mean, the point of that clearly wasn't some soap opera drama there. It was to add to the horror and how in shock and horrified the daughter was to just come in there without even reacting to it.
@@DunaEider93 The entire foundation of Alicents anger and animosity is because of her jealousy, look at the conversation she had with Rhanerya in episode 4 about how she was lucky to be getting fawned over by every man and boy in the realm, look at the contrast between their lives in that episode, she longed for the life Rhaenyra had. Alicent was trapped, while the princess rebelled and went after what she wanted, tries to choose herself, her own happiness, find a better way than Alicent to exist in their world. Alicent succumbed to the pressures of her father. Rhaenyra swore on her mother that she didn't sleep with Daemon and she didn't. Alicent had obligation to tell Rhaenyra that Otto was plotting to set her up with the king? That's a pretty big deal, what good friend wouldn't think to mention that? But the princess is wrong for telling half truths about her virginity to someone who is disloyal? When Alicent confronted Rhaenyra it was all accusations and judgment, to Rhaenyra she's already showed herself to be disloyal, Rhaenyra poured her heart out and cried to her about her father taking a new wife, a perfect opportunity for her to let her friend in on the scheming being done, but she didn't, why would Rhaenyra be obligated to tell her the truth?
The part where Rhaenyra and Syrax find the remains of Luc and Arrax makes me cry because it's not just Rhaenyra's son that is dead, Arrax is Syrax's son as well. Also: reminder that Erryk and Arryk are twins, so when he says "eight and ten" he is saying 18.
Daemon has always wanted to be king, he felt that he was next in line since the beginning. W

Keep in mind, that was syrax' baby as well :( They were both mourning their child. Also Helena was literally sewing in Jaeherys shroud for his funeral WHILE telling aegon she is scared of the rats. Dragons are never shown to care about their kids, and Arrax isn't even confirmed to be Syrax's kid.
Dragons aren’t like that… Syrax is crying because she feels Rhaenyra’s pain

You can clearly see that he's saying all that for show.😂😂😂 He doesn't really care for them one bit.
yeah, he is right in this
To make it clear, it was Deamon's order to kill the boy.
I think that is something the viewers can infer, but the show does leave it open to interpretation.
I think he really knows his got/hotd stuff @@CraigKostelecky
The actress who plays rhaenyra her acting the crying its so reallll 😭

When Alicent confronted Rhaenyra it was all accusations and judgment, to Rhaenyra she's already showed herself to be disloyal, Rhaenyra poured her heart out and cried to her about her father taking a new wife, a perfect opportunity for her to let her friend in on the scheming being done, but she didn't, why would Rhaenyra be obligated to tell her the truth?
The scene where Jace shows back up to report to his mother had me weeping. Such incredible nuanced acting from both of them
When she was doing the embroidery she was whispering"they only want the boy."
Nice reaction guys.
0:17 Did Steven try to quote Titanic's iconic line ‘It's been 84 years' but said '86’? 😂
A for effort?
You have to add the +2 years since season 1.
@Bayard1503 That's exactly what I was going for 😁😁
The part where Rhaenyra and Syrax find the remains of Luc and Arrax makes me cry because it's not just Rhaenyra's son that is dead, Arrax is Syrax's son as well.
Also: reminder that Erryk and Arryk are twins, so when he says "eight and ten" he is saying 18.
I'm glad they kinda toned down the white wyrm's accent.
Nope
Love to see Rhaenys putting Daemon in his place. He really needed a reminder that he isn't the king😉
Daemon has always wanted to be king, he felt that he was next in line since the beginning. He was eager to go unalive aemond and vhagar not really for revenge but to speed things up & start the warring ASAP so he can finally get to be king. He doesn't really care who gets hurt in the process, even little kids. But I guess that's who he is.
they name dropped one of the coolest characters from this era in this episode; dalton greyjoy. a legendary ironman, he was rowing at 5 and reaving at 10. at 15 he earned his moniker the red kraken after seeing his uncle die and in avenging him he came out with blood from a dozen wounds all over. he wields a valyrian steel longsword he stole from a corsair named nightfall. he's 16 during the time period of this war
And y'all mentioned NOTHING about Cristan Cole bumping Alicent on multiple occasions and the veiled mention by Larys that he KNOWS what they were up to...
People want them to be more disgusted by Criston and Alicent than what Daemon did, lol.
@@phousefilmswhy should you be disgusted by daemon he didn’t start the war ? Who would turn the other cheek once you lost a child and not seek revenge ?
@@LordDarshdan Ordering an innocent child killed(the next episode promo confirms he ordered it if they couldn't find Aemond)is disgusting.
Also, technically, Aemond didn't start the war either, as the death of Luke was an accident.
Checkmate.
@@LordDarshdanthat’s not how revenge and justice works. You can’t deliver justice if you prey upon the ones that are innocent and not the one who is responsible which is Aemond.
@@phousefilmssure it was 😏 Anime Daemon didn’t mean to chase a boy on his nuclear gramma and cause his death, right, yeah, he knew what he was doing he’s a fookin psycho,
the music in the beginning is the stark theme, i realised the location before showing winterfell. ;)
The opening scene was so freaking phenomenal, seeing Winterfell, the Wall, and off course Cregan Stark himself. Loved it. Emma D'Arcy's Acting is remarkable, Aegon having his fun with Tyland at the small council was so great 🤣🤣
Still pretty conflicted about Alicent and Criston as well as how Blood and Cheese was done but other than that... a good first episode. Great being back in Westeros. Bring on episode 2.
I literally just watched the entirety of game of thrones and house of the dragon season 1 and watching both your reactions after every single episode.
We are finally up to date with each other ! 😂😂
Side note, I love the new intro of the histories. The intro for season 1 seemed to not be clear enough for most people, understandably, and a lot of people didn't know what they were looking at lol. The histories being displayed on the tapestries in blood is a much better visualization.
Can I just say I love watching y'all react to stuff. You just seem like the kind of people that would be fun to just sit on the couch and watch shows with. One of my favorite reactors now
Thank you for the comment, we appreciate it.
Healena was traumatized TWICE that night. Once by the murder of her child and twice when she walked in on her mom in the act 😂
The cutting sound, really shocked me, as much as the "Red Wedding" did back then.....
Yeah that was horrible
20:31 8 and 10 , thats 18 years btw in westeros tongue
"8 and 10" is archaic speak for 18, they were twins sworn in at 18
It's great to have you back. Thanks for the quick upload!
It’s crazy because this is a super sanitized version of blood and cheese
It's because they changed it to be Damon's orders, so they gotta make sure Damon simps don't flip their shit. Can't wait to see how they handle Aemond's war crimes.
@@RyMann88
From what I remember Daemon is the only one who gets remembered as sort of a heroic figure.
@@RyMann88 it was Daemon's orders in the book too
After almost 2 years...I'm back in your channel Nikki and Steven!
You guys are always the 1st reactors I watch when it comes to the GOT universe.
Actually not 2 years, I rewatched your GOT videos from season 1-8 last year.
For me they'll always be #1 reactors, 2017 or 2018 I found their chanel when I was around 18, I remember cause of something I'm too lazy to explain but yeah hahahaa love them
Btw the previous riders of Daemon's and Aemond's dragons were brothers and were very close
3:40 it's the Stark theeemee. Had so much goosebumps
Still team black 🖤 but daemon needs to be grounded for life in making choices
No he doesn't he makes the show interesting
@@YounaPun that's your opinion and I have mine good day
I love Daemon as a character, but he'd make a terrible king.
@@ProfessorChaos56no
Fuck Daemon
My favorite GOT reaction channel, ah guys I adore you so much! I've been watching you for 5 years already. Love your couple, harmonic and experienced. It is very nostalgic to me as well hearing The GOT opening with you guys. enjoy the show.
wow!! we really appreciate that! thank you for the support.
@@NikkiStevenReact Oh, melts my heart that you saw and answered guys. I appreciate this too.
Erryk and Arryk are twins… 8 and 10 is 18 in this world lol
Now I get that line. I thought like “why was only one of the twins sworn in at first, and then his twin brother 2 years later.” 😂
But now I remember, there was that way of “counting” that also appeared in GoT.
@@itsviogracewell one being sworn in first wouldn’t be that odd. Kingsguard openings are very rare since they serve for life
No, in the world, twins have different ages. It is known.
@@WarKrieg don’t know about that but in this world the single number precedes the decade number ie Beesbury saying he is 6 and 70 years… it is known 😉
Did you know that Cregan Starks actor is young Uhtred from the first episode of TLK @NikkiStevenReact
The original Cowboy bebop will always have the best intro to me
I can’t believe they opened the new season with Blood and Cheese!!
Also shout out to Nikki and Steven for being some of the first reactors I watch that posted this!! 💖
When the dog got kicked and the final horrific sequences occurred, i feared for mothers and new mums among YT reactors who would be utterly devastated, chief among them, Nikki.
the greens were so worried about getting attacked from above (dragons) that they weren't really thinking about an attack coming from below (the rats). if you're worried about any kind of retaliation on your family, you would be guarding your home by any means, almost to a point where you're paranoid where you can't trust anyone. in this world, you really don't need dragons to kill someone. clearly, team green had to learn this the hard way.
i'm surprised nikki didn't break out into tears. i was worried she would after watching this episode.
i did read the book so i won't comment on that. after watching the preview for the season, everything looks epic! you can tell a budget increase happened, even with this episode. this is going to be an entertaining and bloody season!
so stoked that the starks are back
That was awesome
At the 14:48 point btw Queen mourning her son was also combined with the Dragon mourning hers as she was the mother of the dragon killed btw. 2x the sadness
I didn’t sleep waiting for this reaction!!!! Finally🔥🔥🔥
and I didn't sleep till y'all had the reaction!! 😁😁

The twin brothers were sworn to the king’s guard at 18. They said 8 and 10 that’s how they say age.
Nikki's instinctual "oh hunny" mother moment was perfect
the baby killing scene in the book is more terrifying
the show doesn't say it up from but Lucerys' Dragon Arrax was Syrax's child. So when Syrax yowled as Rhaenyra was crying over Luc's clothes, Syrax was also mourning a child/
Aegon (fatherless) is just 20 something and is already a better father than viserys and daemon (they had a loving father) who were just pos and deadbeat, he is still learning and WANTS to be a king now (it is his right too). You criticize him for less bad and more naive young age related stuff than you criticize daemon the 50 year old whiny second son wife murderer.
Aegon is just a bad person who likes watching children fight to the death though
Classic Team Black
@@cherrybomber69 as an audience we dont know that, he was pass out the entire time, he went there to drink, and if you remember vaemond's death aegon reaction was just disgust and turned his eyes away (unlike aemond whot kept watching), he clearly doesnt like gore stuff and feels disgusted so we dont know if he actually sees that spectacle.
Larys Strong be creeping around scheming like an early version of Little Finger, hell he now called Big Toe from henceforth
I'm not even going to lie, yall are one of my favorite reaction channels when it comes to the ASOIAF universe. Truly empathetic and intelligent content creators, and your perspectives of parenthood really struck me from past episodes. I've been following yall since Game of Thrones and it feels like I'm getting re-acquainted with friends I had years ago. ❤❤❤
Loved getting a scene in The North with the Starks
"He is adorable" Oh Nikki I was already feeling for you
The Blood and Chees scene was a disappointment compared to the book.
“…absolutely disgusting. I thought that was a really good start.” 😂 You guys are great
Since Nikki didn’t cry you know they didn’t do blood and cheese right
Exactly 💯
Nikki is team black n I suppose u wouldn’t cry for that scene other than being shocked or disgusted there’s no crying factor for that scene imo
@@LigMa-xe3pu if it was done like the books many would cry but it wasn't so it's just a damn feeling
@LigMa-xe3pu that has zero to do with why she didn’t cry. Regardless of the side she’d cry for the death of a child. It was the way it was presented, off camera and shocking.
@@LigMa-xe3punaw nikki was in shock and angry at what was happening.
My ringtone is the GOT/HOTD theme by Vitamin String Quartet. Has been for years lol.
Also, I love how they gave us what we wanted both seasons. Season 1, they gave us dragons almost right away. Season 2, they gave us Winterfell.
Daemon is a horrible person. I love the character wholeheartedly- but the actual character is HORRENDOUS, he ordered that kill. Him. If even one person keeps praising him for something other than just being loyal and sword skills, I’ll like lose it lol
When the rat catcher asked what do we do if we can't find him, Damon leans over and whispers "a son for a son" but you can bearly hear him.
8 and 10 means 18 , they were born 18 when joining the kingsguard
That makes a lot for sense
