Kay so I have same bird. Yet I was told it was a female at ignorant Pet Store. After my Zebra Finches Himeno buddy Spice Finch passed away she hadn't laid any eggs, he was a beautiful old boy named Ame. I brought what I thought was a female Social Finch looked like this guy. Now I find eggs in her nest. Now godda rename the little one from Carmen.
How old is he? We just got one from petsmart and he's far younger. Like can't even glide yet and beak is still marbled black and pink and a lot of frazzled down
