Watched a few vids on which mic to buy. Just FYI, yours is one of the better vids. Even though some vids have 100k+ views. Simple, informative and none of that unboxing crap. I like your style!
You sold me on buying this! I’m getting into podcasting and very new at it. For the price range, this mic seems to offer a lot. Thanks for the concise and professional review.
I'm using the Snowball right now and I think the audio quality is already pretty solid, but this one would definitely be what I want to upgrade to! Love that you have a lot of control with the gain knob directly on the mic, too!
I love Blue Yeti but I prefer the Rode NT1-A, I’ve always felt like it was crisper (for singing etc) and they’re relatively similar in price too. But yeah, the features on the Yeti are awesome, especially the fact you can change where the microphone is actively targeting. There aren’t many out there that do that.
Just starting out with a channel of my own, recording gameplay and JUST received my Blue Yeti Blackout and it is SOOOO much better sounding than my headset mic I've used forever. Have a loud fan in the background so I'll have some adjusting to do before using it in any video's bc this mic is sensitive! 10/10 for quality!
They have it in pink pawn on Amazon for $94🥰 I am IN LOVE!!! I also have the g735,g705 and g715 that’s apart of this blue yeti mic🥰 when I say my work from home flow is so much better! Especially with avaya and Citrix
Great review Brian. I’ve been looking to upgrade my sound set up for a while but just didn’t know what I wanted. This yeti might be it. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent explanations. I love this video. I went back and forth from the beginning to after you started using the yeti you can definitely tell the difference thank you so much.
Thank you for this video. It helped with my final decision on purchasing this mic yesterday. I’m in the process of building the quality of my TH-cam page. I also appreciate the links, as well. Take Care
Great review, and im excited to get my Yeti now. I ended up finding the one you bought on amazon for 108, so it was a must buy :) thanks for the awesome review though
Hi, did you edit the quality in any way before uploading? (Noise removal, eq, etc.?) Also, is it possible if you can share what the volume level was in windows? Thanks!
so if u raise the headphone volume it will also raise the volume of your views for your viewers?? and if u aren't using headphones at all, do u just not need to worry about the volume knob??
Hi, I am a beginner and have a question. I am very frustrated trying to figure something out. I am currently using the blue yeti...When I want to be able to here the music playing and my voice singing through the head phones at the same time. how would I do this? - Im using mix pad.
I got this mic today and the quality isn't good at all sometimes. Almost similar to a headset mic. I'm talking right in front of it but it just doesn't sound that great. What should I do?
Bro did you make sure to record in the cardioid mode (looks like a peach)? Is the volume knob substantially up? Are you recording directly to your computer using Audacity or are you connecting your mic directly to your camera? what are you connecting your mic to? Oh, check out my Rode NTG mic video where I compare this mic to that one.
So I'm a twitch streamer and often times my wife plays about 2 feet to my left along side of Me. Will this mic be good at drowning out her voice and really only picking up mine?
I think so bro. But you can compare it to the one im suggesting here amzn.to/3D8R6aU this one is a 10ft long cable tho, but you can use it to compare to the one youre buying.
I bought one it’s very good my only complaint is that it’s so good that it picks up my air conditioner I have window units so it kinda makes me doing commentary videos useless
Bro you have to suffer a bit while you record. Can’t have noises unfortunately. If you want a more direct recording I’d suggest you look into the Rode NTG. I have that one as well, made a comparison video here too. Lmk if you need the link
Can you tell me what is your setting? Are you recording directly connected to a camera, to computer using a audio program like Audacity or any other method?

Can anyone help me please? I purchased the mic yesterday, used it in a FaceTime call and had no issues. Today I tried using it same way and when I hit the mute button and then unmuted it it's as though the mic isnt connected. I went into the Logitech hub and it says "setting up" undertake mic. What does that mean. It didnt even need that when I first hooked it up
I get echo in my studio, can this microphone will help and reduce it? can you please suggest what should I do to reduce the echo. I don't have budget for sound proofing of studio. please help.
I actually installed some pyramid shape foam on a portion of one of my walls, then I bought some sound proofing strips for my door edge and also at the bottom of my door, It also helps to put a rug on your floor, even if its an area rug. Also, empty spaces create a lot of echo.
