@ Není za co :D. U linek 22 je to celé pomíchané, protože máme 4 konečné - Bílá Hora, Vypich, Radošovická (resp. Nádraží Strašnice) a Nádraží Hostivař. Takže u linky 22 je pořadí opravdu čistě pro identifikaci a nejezdí za sebou jako ostatní linky. Stejně tak budou promíchané nejspíš linky 17 kdy nějaké končí na Výstavišti a nějaké až v Kobylisích :).

Every tram in Prague has electromagnetic rail brake. In both cases I've used maximum brake which means full electric motor brake and all electromagnetic rail brakes. I could've used emergency brake which would also use mechanical brake in lower speed but it could cause wheels to lock and slip and making the braking distance longer. Also the emergency brake would have to be used to a complete stop which could lead to passengers falling. That's why I choose this braking method as it is better controled. When I saw that the danger is not there anymore, I let the electromagnetic rail brake which was a lot more comfortable for passengers. Hope I explained it good.
You czechs are lucky. In Hungary we have to give way to the pedestrians with the tram at the crossings. It is absurd that we have to do this with a railway vehichle...

It appears to me that most people simply have no idea, that rail-bound vehicles (almost) always have the right of way. Unless (e.g.) they have to: - make a left-hand turn on an unregulated intersection, or - "just" cross the oncoming traffic lane; at least here in Austria. Greetings from Vienna!
Always ring the bell prior tp moving off from tramstops to warn pedestrians that you are about to move off. This will avoid driving at pedestrians who start to cross as the tram starts to move off.
In Czech Republic pedestrians can pass before others, but tram is in the same kategory as normal train and train does not stand for you to cross, it is logical tram takes more meters to stop then car would. The older trams that are still used along with new ones are 40 tons you dont stop that like it would be car and even the new ones are around 18 tons of weight.

Máme povoleno užít maximální možnou brzdu k odvrácení hrozícího nebezpečí. Cestující je při přepravě povinen buďto sedět a nebo se při stání držet, pak by k pádu dojít nemělo. Pokud ale k pádu osoby dojde a dojde i ke zranění, musí se volat policie protože se jedná o mimořádnou událost a ta se pak bude šetřit. Na 99% se řidiči nic nestane, pokud by se ovšem neprokázalo že užil brzdu bezdůvodně. Většinou je hodně svědků okolo nebo právě i moje kamera může sloužit jako důkaz, že brzda byla oprávněná.

Chodec nesmí omezit JEDOUCÍ tram, stojícího ho vůbec zajímat nemusí (což je logický, nejde dát přednost stojící tram). Ale vidím to tady z dálky, další věc je jestli řidič infomoval o rozjezdu zvonkem atd... To je to samý, že já v autě taky nepřejedu chodce, co vlezl na přechod na zelenou, ale už má červenou a zelenou mám já - také ho nechám po přechodě dojít
It is a campaign to show people what can happen when they don't pay attention to tram. In Czech language it's #Neskakejmipodkola (Neskákej mi pod kola) which literally means "Don't jump under my wheels" and there is a few of those silhouettes throughout the city on the places where accident with a person is most occured, but it is not a silhouette of a real accident :).

You Can turn on english subtitles with the CC button in your TH-cam player. I didnt exactly use emergency brake because As you Said the tram would stop completely which isnt Really good. The way I brake was using the samé braking power As emergency brake would, but when I see that the danger is not There anymore, I Can safely stop braking and People want Fall inside the tram.
So what? If people were not retarded, took care to be aware of their surroundings, looked left and right when crossing the tracks, listened to the environment instead of music in their earphones (or, in case of car drivers, paid attention instead of taking a smoke behind the wheel and listening to loud radio or having a phonecall), they'd see and hear the tram from afar. Speed isn't the issue. People not paying attention is (and sometimes looking like they got tired of being alive and healthy). Tram can kill careless person even at much lower speed if person steps in front of it at the last moment. Just as well you could say it is unsafe for vehicles to drive where pedestrians are present. Same issue - at 50kph (the general city limit in the Czech Republic) a car CAN stop rather quickly... which does no good for a person if they carelesly step right in front of it.

But you must also be aware that not everyone permanently lives in that city or any other city with trams and therefore, not everyone has the benefit of being familiar with the specific dangers of tram traffic, which is special in that the trams run on fixed tracks (sometimes they don't go where you would expect them to go) and they can't stop as quickly as other traffic. Although there is an important lesson to be had in the worst consequences of carelessness, I would not opt for full blown natural selection to be the method of beating caution into people.

@@FildasKirk Left hand traffic in Britain is way too solid to be changed. You are invoking an extreme here. Their whole infrastructure is based on left hand traffic and all of the vehicles are that way. The infrastructure spans across the whole island, so you are constantly reminded. Changing the speed limit of trams is way simpler, you can't compare it. Of course the trams will never be at fault because the law supports them, but they are outright asking for trouble when they drive parallel to cars on the turning lane. They could at least ring the bell to make other traffic aware, that's the least I would do. You should primarily be avoiding danger. Dealing with a situation as it unfolds should be Plan B.
Watching from the States where we used to have trams/Trolleys but its was like in the 20s-40s. So i understand you have to follow Trams signals but not road signals right? I just want a better understanding when it comes to right of ways for Trams. But i do enjoy your videos but hate stupid people, sadly where ever you go they are always there. One more thing if you or anyone else can help if there is an crash where a car brake checks a trams (yea very smart) or turns left with out looking and gets hit. It's the driver of the car to blame right?
Well yeah, we do have our own traffic lights that we have to follow, we don't go on green, orange nor red, those are not for us. But we have to obey most of the basic traffic rules that apply for anybody else on the road, for example when traffic lights are off, we don't have any special priority over cars, we are on the same level with them. Pedestrians don't have priority over tram on crossings (zebras) with no traffic lights, they have to let us go. When there is a crash, it is mostly fault of a car driver, because we are strickly limited to rails and can't make any sudden moves, we just drive straight, ring the bell and brake, those are the only things that we can do. If somebody would brake check a tram, it could end up as my fault because I did not have enough free space between tram and a car - But with camera like this, it would be obvious that the car stopped for no reason and he could be charged with something like danger to general public or something like that. As you said, if the car turns left over the rails, it is his fault as he has to give us the way and then he can go. Same applies when I need to turn right over the street when we are moving in the same direction with the cars, I use the signal and cars should give me way by slowing down or even stopping. You can check the channel "tajda52" for his latest video which is a crash where driver of the car turns left right in front of tram. Or channel "Rezistor" for a video named "Střet s osobním autem" where he shows a tram crash in details how everything happened, driver of the car is to be blamed of course.

Chodec nesmí omezit JEDOUCÍ tram, stojícího ho vůbec zajímat nemusí (což je logický, nejde dát přednost stojící tram). Ale vidím to tady z dálky, další věc je jestli řidič infomoval o rozjezdu zvonkem atd...
To je to samý, že já v autě taky nepřejedu chodce, co vlezl na přechod na zelenou, ale už má červenou a zelenou mám já - také ho nechám po přechodě dojít

It is a campaign to show people what can happen when they don't pay attention to tram. In Czech language it's #Neskakejmipodkola (Neskákej mi pod kola) which literally means "Don't jump under my wheels" and there is a few of those silhouettes throughout the city on the places where accident with a person is most occured, but it is not a silhouette of a real accident :).

@@Sylvere21 It was, the old ČKD Tatra trams have magnetic emergency brake, but also Tatra trams is powered by rotator in middle of tram, so its hard to stop it from 50 to 0 for 5 secs...
You Can turn on english subtitles with the CC button in your TH-cam player. I didnt exactly use emergency brake because As you Said the tram would stop completely which isnt Really good. The way I brake was using the samé braking power As emergency brake would, but when I see that the danger is not There anymore, I Can safely stop braking and People want Fall inside the tram.

It's too dangerous for trams to drive the same speed limit as cars in the same places, because they take much longer to brake to a standstill.
So what? If people were not retarded, took care to be aware of their surroundings, looked left and right when crossing the tracks, listened to the environment instead of music in their earphones (or, in case of car drivers, paid attention instead of taking a smoke behind the wheel and listening to loud radio or having a phonecall), they'd see and hear the tram from afar.
Speed isn't the issue. People not paying attention is (and sometimes looking like they got tired of being alive and healthy). Tram can kill careless person even at much lower speed if person steps in front of it at the last moment. Just as well you could say it is unsafe for vehicles to drive where pedestrians are present. Same issue - at 50kph (the general city limit in the Czech Republic) a car CAN stop rather quickly... which does no good for a person if they carelesly step right in front of it.
@@FildasKirk Of course people are stupid, that's just how it is. But you must also be aware that not everyone permanently lives in that city or any other city with trams and therefore, not everyone has the benefit of being familiar with the specific dangers of tram traffic, which is special in that the trams run on fixed tracks (sometimes they don't go where you would expect them to go) and they can't stop as quickly as other traffic. Although there is an important lesson to be had in the worst consequences of carelessness, I would not opt for full blown natural selection to be the method of beating caution into people.
@@MrSaemichlaus by that logic, the English should start driving on the right so that all visitors would not be in danger from traffic since it is reversed. You visit, you need to be aware. I also had to be careful in London. I also had to take care to not go over the speed limit posted in mph when I am used to signs in kph and my instruments are in kph
@@FildasKirk Left hand traffic in Britain is way too solid to be changed. You are invoking an extreme here. Their whole infrastructure is based on left hand traffic and all of the vehicles are that way. The infrastructure spans across the whole island, so you are constantly reminded. Changing the speed limit of trams is way simpler, you can't compare it. Of course the trams will never be at fault because the law supports them, but they are outright asking for trouble when they drive parallel to cars on the turning lane. They could at least ring the bell to make other traffic aware, that's the least I would do. You should primarily be avoiding danger. Dealing with a situation as it unfolds should be Plan B.

Watching from the States where we used to have trams/Trolleys but its was like in the 20s-40s. So i understand you have to follow Trams signals but not road signals right? I just want a better understanding when it comes to right of ways for Trams. But i do enjoy your videos but hate stupid people, sadly where ever you go they are always there. One more thing if you or anyone else can help if there is an crash where a car brake checks a trams (yea very smart) or turns left with out looking and gets hit. It's the driver of the car to blame right?
Well yeah, we do have our own traffic lights that we have to follow, we don't go on green, orange nor red, those are not for us. But we have to obey most of the basic traffic rules that apply for anybody else on the road, for example when traffic lights are off, we don't have any special priority over cars, we are on the same level with them. Pedestrians don't have priority over tram on crossings (zebras) with no traffic lights, they have to let us go.
When there is a crash, it is mostly fault of a car driver, because we are strickly limited to rails and can't make any sudden moves, we just drive straight, ring the bell and brake, those are the only things that we can do. If somebody would brake check a tram, it could end up as my fault because I did not have enough free space between tram and a car - But with camera like this, it would be obvious that the car stopped for no reason and he could be charged with something like danger to general public or something like that. As you said, if the car turns left over the rails, it is his fault as he has to give us the way and then he can go. Same applies when I need to turn right over the street when we are moving in the same direction with the cars, I use the signal and cars should give me way by slowing down or even stopping.
You can check the channel "tajda52" for his latest video which is a crash where driver of the car turns left right in front of tram. Or channel "Rezistor" for a video named "Střet s osobním autem" where he shows a tram crash in details how everything happened, driver of the car is to be blamed of course.
