Amazing work, Colin! Your boat is both beautiful, and original. I absolutely love the shutters. Don’t know why so many boats have curtains when shutters and wooden porthole stoppers are traditional, more practical and so much more beautiful. Just a note: Cinders Dream should have an apostrophe. Cinders’ Dream (Dream belonging to Cinders) or Cinder’s Dream (Dream belonging to Cinder). I’m guessing you want Cinders’ Dream. Cinders Dream without the apostrophe sort of means Dream that’s made of cinders/ashes, or even dream that’s burnt to ashes. Great job, as per usual. Loved the hidden table idea - genius! The speed at which you're doing this, all by yourself, is remarkable. Originally, you said you were hoping to get finished in the summer. It looks like you're on target - something rare indeed, within the narrowboat community, so I've heard. Hope the bits and bobs don't take too long. You're not going to paint the boat as well, are you? There must be something you can't do, surely. Keep cracking on, Colin! It's all coming together nicely now and you can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel, we have never seen a layout plan of the boat a drawing is a must for me, as so much can be sorted on a plan before the actual work begins, l assume that you must have one somewhere. Trevor's shorts look a treat, very smart, how do they fit on a hanger? Your hair cut was very good that might have been the first " crew cut " I'm glad the cake break is back again but surprised at the small choice, oh well. Do you have a forecast for completion, anyhow it's all looking very shipshape.
Just a quick question colin...Im about to line the interior of my boat, but im concerned about the wood joints expanding and contracting and thus spoiling and decor i have planned...Is there any way this can be prevented or at least reduced. You mentioned it on your vid, and although you seem unconcerned, it does spoil a good join....

Didnt realise a boat expands that much. Any tips for getting the best fit? Maybe build in spring or use a 'floating wall'
