I cannot praise Mark's instructional videos highly enough! A great teacher, with a calm demeanour. Watching these technical 'how tos' gives me the confidence to tackle certain jobs that would have otherwise felt beyond me. The generous knowledge sharing is greatly appreciated and it is evident that a lot of care and planning have gone into these videos. What a great resource for the aircooled community. A quick question: I assume this procedure would be largely the same when overhauling a type 3 'pancake' engine? Am I correct in thinking that the barrels and pistons are essentially the same?
Hi, thank you for such kind comments and feedback! To answer your question, yes the barrel and piston procedure is the same as the video and the rest of the engine is very similar. Hope that helps! If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask. Many Thanks, JK
