Inside America's Most Haunted Castle (Ghost Speaks?)

- In this episode of beyond the dark we visit " Wilson Castle " located in Vermont . We was told by multiple people this place was really haunted so we had to check this place out!
The castle’s construction began in 1885, as instructed by Doctor & Lady Johnson. Doctor Johnson was a Vermonter who went to England to study medicine. While there he met & married a wealthy lady of the aristocracy. After 71/2 years of planning and construction the castle was completed at the sum of $1,300,000. The Johnson’s remained in the castle for only a brief time.
From the 1880’s until 1939, the castle was bought & sold numerous times. In 1939, a radio engineer named Herbert Lee Wilson, came to Vermont. He was a pioneer in the AM radio field and built radio stations all over the world. He was looking for a new location to build another station and a summer home for his family. He purchased the estate and the history of Wilson’s Castle officially starts. In the early 1940’s, Col. Wilson was noted for his engineering and radio work in Vermont. He designed radio station WHWB, owned by the Wilson’s and Charles Bates through the Central Vermont Broadcasting Corporation. Other radio work included WSYB in Rutland, Vermont which had the first directional antenna in the state of Vermont. Col. Wilson also provided engineering on WCX channel 3 television station in Burlington, Vermont.
When America joined WWII in 1941, Herbert Wilson joined the Army Signal Corps, from which he retired in the 1950’s as rank of Colonel. He retired to the castle, and in 1962, opened it for tours. He passed away in 1981 at the age of 82 and left the estate to his daughter, Blossom Wilson Davine Ladabouche. Blossom passed in 2010 and currently her daughter Denise Davine is the owner/operator.

I literally just stayed in Vermont last weekend and came here. The guy even said, “exploring Josh was here last weekend” and when I tell you I was so upset I missed him I cried 😂

Honestly going there sealed my beliefs in the paranormal. There’s a “bride room” where one of the King’s wives and her brides maids got ready in. Before I even walked in the place, I pointed at a window that I thought had someone standing in it however we were the only people there. Once getting to that room, I realized that was the one I pointed to and the tour guide explained how many people see a young girl in a black dress here and my heart sank. After going to walk out of the room to the master bedroom, I turned around quick cause I felt eyes on me and watched a small black figure dart into that room. It’s worth visiting, trust me. If you have equipment, bring it and experience what I did. I wish I had some stuff with me while I was there. Definitely worth while

Those large “points” are called ‘turrets’ and that’s an old large bird aviary in the back, not cages.
Gotta house the peacocks at nite. We had peacocks when I was a kid. Did you see the vase of feathers?

The big front one is a tower because it reaches the ground. Turrets are usually cantilevered or extend from another part of the building. So the other round ones which have really point tops are turrets.
All the years of following Josh and his crew, I'm really getting into the haunted series. Production and editing are phenomenal.

The location of this castle reminds me of the house from Miss Peregrines Home For Peculiar Children Movie they are very similar to each other just without the huge lake in the back. I love it looks so enchantingly charming 🏰

Ouija boards should never be used. They have a bad habit of bringing negative entities into the environment into which they are being used. Too often are the instances of the entity being contacted will be lying about who they are and what their intentions are. I've been studying and practicing the magical/metaphysical arts for all of my life and I would NEVER EVER, allow one into my environment, nor would I stay in the area where I know of one being used or having been used.

I really hope they don't use it there, i totally agree with you! It makes a difference if like in the Conjuring house, they use it, so they know about it... but taking a Ouija board with you to a place and the owners are not informed about it, this can have some bad reputation for the whole group.. and like you said opening a portal who do owners don't want! Bad mojo nope not good!
So basically its like opening a door with entities that might not REALLY be a part of that buildings history but will lie and deceive in order for it to be brought back into this realm for its own reasons.

I just watched this channel called mindseedTV and they basically do this too, just go around and investigate paranormal places but it was sooo fake and so creepy, I hated it. At 22:01 right before you said " oh it smells in here" I heard a woman voice almost singing in the distance but that could have been someone that's with you talking. Dk. It sounded strange though. I'll edit this post if I see or hear anything else.
Edit1: 29:24 another orb shot from the door about midway from left to right, right Into the mirror towards the back of the room to the right of the windows. It was super fast. I barely caught it as I was drifting off to sleep. But I caught a glimpse. Rewound 10 secs and slowed it down as much as possible to get a better look at it.
At around 26:51 I may have saw an orb but sincr it was the attic it may have been dust
I noticed while he was in the tower part with the wheelchair in the middle, his camera unfocuses multiple times when it wasn't doing that anywhere else.

Im watching these totally out of order haha but really enjoying them. There is a real genuine vibe that makes it so different from any other 'ghost hunt' youtubes I've seen. The fact everyone is so calm and in way, professional, sets your videos apart with the realness and to help us believe, which is very hard to do via video.

Vermont as well as Pennsylvania & Ohio had these types of mansions most of them have been torn down in the past 30 years. A beautiful one here in my hometown just last month. A total shame. First Omar and now JOSH exploring the castle ten mins from my house? This is insane! I did my senior photos there back in 2018, and it is definitely haunted. Saw multiple shadow figures in windows and on the back lawn. I grew up driving by this place all the time and it always gave off weird vibes

I always love watching the Exploring with Josh videos he has a amazing way of expressing the history in the places he goes and giving detail. That's something I feel we all should respect about his videos is that he absolutely leaves nothing out and as hes filming his videos he gives us a clear outlook at what were watching which is a huge advantage to us! Major credits to this guy and his crew I'm always impressed no lie..thank you I love the uniqueness of the places he explores. There's so much about alot of places we sometimes dont understand but since I've been watching I've become a huge fan because I love learning the history if these places

I’ve been to the old south Pittsburg hospital and the bell witch cave, the hospital was creepy we saw a large black shadow figure in the doorway and the room was already dark, it was darker than dark.
What I live in TN and didn't know there was a haunted hospital thing here
My favorite part of the house is the circular balcony, I could see me reading a book there or just chillin looking outside
I love how all the generations of this house get to live on. Props to everyone involved in keeping the history of the house alive. And to Josh and everyone for making these videos I love this one in this Castle is amazing. I've lived in New England all my life and I'll have to make a visit here one day thanks guys. BTW, the dining room is my favorite room.
