FAQ's:
Q: I cant change between UEFI and Legacy or changing between them didn't help.
A: If changing between UEFI and Legacy didn't help or you could not make that change, move on and continue with the rest of the video. What was the result of the Toshiba diagnostic scan?
Q: What if none of the BIOS fixes worked and the diagnostic test shows my HDD to be healthy or I cannot run the test?
A: If none of the BIOS fixes worked for you or if you could not try them, and if the Diagnostic Test showed your HDD to be healthy or you could not run the diagnostic test, then you would move on and try a new install of your operating system as seen here in these videos;

If the install is successful, then you know the HDD is good and you have fixed the issue. If the install fails, the HDD is most likely bad and needs to be replaced.

I also thank you for your guidance with diy computer repair.
I've followed all your steps, and wound up replacing the drive. It still won't boot up windows. It goes further than it used to, I see the Microsoft emblem, then it gives me "computer restarted unexpectedly....windows installation cannot proceed......"
I called the folks I got the drive from, they say it must be my motherboard.
Thoughts?
It's a Toshiba satellite E55-A5114 circa 2014

Most likely not. If your computer uses a 32 bit, then thats most likely what it needs to run. What brand and model computer do you have?

You can press and hold the power button for up to one minute to force shutdown. What happens when you power it back on?

You have a Toshiba computer? How did you break it? did anything happen before this issue appeared? Liquid spill, overheating, Windows update, etc?
@@PC_MonkeyMy Toshiba is exactly as the one in the video and I copied step by step changing the boot and when it turned on it's a black screen saying No bootable Device -- insert boot disk? So what do I do at this stage? Take it to a shop? Recovery? Factory reset? Is it the hard drive that's broken? Sorry but I'm still lost.
