I'm just at the beginning of the video, first and foremost awesome pick on this one, this will be a great addition to the fleet for long journeys!! Also 8 bucks a gallon HOLY COW!! YIKES!!

I love your "Steam gauges," having worked those systems, (USAF), Avionics) "back in the day." :-) "Glass" is nice, but I just love watching those pointers. :-) My G.A. favorite was the Piper Arrow. That was until the wings came off. My EAB was fun for many years. Loved your video. Thanks. N6395T
That is a great and good equipped airplane you've bought. Congrats. Keep it in the fleet for a while to enjoy. Waiting for the next video with the new panel in the Bluberry.
With 3 boys one that will be a pilot and the other two and myself are A&P were looking . I started out as a PP and then worked GA for 3 years I miss it. Thanks for making the videos :)
FYI… The turbocharger on this airplane, and the B36TC, are prone to cracking on the hot-side. I’ve replaced several of them over the years. The turbo doesn’t crack externally, it is an internal crack. Not particularly dangerous, more of a loss of efficiency. Overall, I really like the A36TC and B36TC. 👍🏼
Always cool to see TH-camrs stop at one of my home airports. When I was timebuilding, I bought gas at Sherman for less than $2/gal. At the time it was the cheapest fuel in the United States.
Wow...my Dad and Uncle both got their private pilot licences at Sherman back in the early '60's. Sherman and Paris. There was also a grass strip in Lamar County back then that's gone now.
Spent about 50k with Bill at Atlantic Beech when I bought my Baron. They do great work. I've had it for 3 years and barely had a single issue with anything. Was cool to hear his name on here.
No red beacon light anywhere on your new gal? That'd be something I'd add. One on top of tail and another on bottom fuse below Captain seat. Helps ground crew or people around plane are that you're about to start! Put LED nav & strobe lights too? It has LED taxi/land lights already. I've got a bunch of time in a 1968 V35 Bonanza. We made all lights LED starting with taxi/land. Ours had rotating beacon on top rear fuselage which was useless. We added another one under fuse. They were dual colored red/white as ours didn't have wingtip Strobes. Three way switch. Off/GND (red)/AIR (white). We also added a strobe on rear nav light that came on when AIR was selected. Standard procedure became Land light on pre take off and keep it on for whole flight! We also added Land lights on each main gear leg. We'd be lucky to do 2 hours night flying a year but with them all on its like daytime! B36 is a superb machine. Yours is a bit special having intercooler too. Love the club leather seating too! Enjoy lads!

Congrats guys...awesome to see your videos. This one was a little hard at times b/c of the radio chatter during commentary. However, good video nevertheless...
The temps are high because turbo systems were decreased compression! With the intercooler stock compression kind of operates like a stock engine until 6000' or so then the turbo kick in to maintain MP! The decreased compression requires high fuel consumption!
