She really is living her best life and I've always been drawn to her no matter what role she has played. So many titles of talents. I'll have what she's doing to share her talents! It's beautiful knowing she never had to think of working and she shared who she is and succeed
Seinfeld is still my favorite show of all time, and I couldn't imagine anyone other than those 4 playing the main characters.
Me neither it's a special thing Jerry says that every time he's asked about how he felt about the cast. He didn't make it great they all did.
JLD is a fantastic actress! I rewatched Veep recently and was stunned at her wit, timing, and skill❤

@Cancun • Yes, if only Julia was running for President, we would have the opportunity to vote her away from the entertainment industry where she excels, providing her viewers pleasure and an escape from everyday worries.
Instead, we could vote her into a position where she would be responsible for everything from school lunches to when to launch nuclear strikes. After all, Julia's background in entertainment should enable her to hit the ground running with the same level of confidence as someone who has been receiving intelligence briefings for years.
And I suppose the hundreds of members of Congress would give up their own policy and donor objectives to someone who provided entertainment in the past. After all, that's what people did with Trump.
All celebrities can't be like Trump, can they? Celebrities can provide us with an endless supply of presidential candidates. Much better to choose a president for his or her entertainment background than for a background in foreign and domestic policy, negotiating with hundreds of members of Congress from myriad districts with myriad political philosophies, and an in-depth knowledge of qualified, honest, ethical individuals to serve in cabinet and other administrative positions.
Celebrities are the perfect candidates because we all know what we like, so we don't need to spend any brain power researching candidates who have devoted their lives to public service.

I love JLD and she is indeed a national treasure. That audience greeting said it all. Elaine was my absolute favorite Seinfeld character. VEEP was one of the few shows in which I laughed out loud several times an episode. Her character, Selena Meyer was a horrible person, yet hysterically funny. It was ‘said’ that elected officials on both sides watched the show.

I always wonder if the audience knows who the guests are going to be, or if they're completely surprised in the moment. That's quite the reaction, which she totally deserves either way!

I love JLD. I have always enjoyed her comedy, but this more personal side is revelatory. My Mother, Father, and Sister all love it and are getting a lot out of it, in addition to the pure entertainment aspect.
But New Adventures of the Old Christine is the best sitcom I've ever seen in my life and I've seen most of them, starting from the early 50s

And I have no problem at all with her. She just strikes me as someone who would be able to play the character well. What is your issue with Darcy?
