After some research I found there is an antenna you need for spektrum transmitters. That is what Spektrum refers to them as antennas. They sell one for $35.00 which is the same antenna that come with the AR7000. It plugs in the side of the receiver the same way it plugs in the side of the receiver on the spektrum AR7000.
There's a front and back tail gear that in my experience has stripped way too many times in a very short period without even crashing....the receiver many times takes 3 to 4 times before it binds unlike the blade Helis....when it is working fine, the Trex 250 is super stable no drifting and that's nice for a change. ...
I already bought the BTF version with the 3gx mrs system thinking it would just bind to spektrum, as that's what the advertisement leads you to believe. Im curious if a satellite receiver is what I need or a totally new radio?
This is Propaganda! In no way shape or form is it this that easy. Come on, you have to set up your 3GX. You have to go through a bind process. You have to take off the landing gear. You have to add your satellite receiver. You have to go to Home Depot to get the tools that don't come with in the box. You then have to figure out how to set up your DX9. Then your tail and main rotors are not going to spin correctly and you are going to spend an hour on you tube trying to find someone else that went through what you did. So eventually you will end up here and just laugh at the Propaganda. I am sure once I spend another day trying to get this into the air, it will be a fun Heli, but please, don't let people think it is that easy. It Really is not. This is fair honest review, not like this video of just flies out of the box.

nice Heli but the front gear tail is a piece of you know what....... I have bought about 5 of them since the original and they only last a few flights before they go bad....Horrible workmanship ......they strip wayyyy to easily. I only do regular flying no 3d.... I do not recommend this Heli. even binding the receiver sucks.... takes forever sometimes. No match for my blade 130x if you are making transition from fixed pitch....
I dont understand, what you mean. What stips away to easy? The gear, the turning thing on the brushless motor brakes? the battary isnt secure enough?- sorry please tell me what part do you mean?
The 250 was a Ninga.Back in my day.I loved every moment of flying in my bedroom.
