@@sealll8435 Brionne is not good. It's not even fully evolved. You try using that pokemon in the higher tiers of competitive battling and you're gonna get wrecked. Primarina would be better, but even it's not that good. Rule of thumb when it comes to competitive battling: most starter pokemon and their evolutions aren't that good. Sure, some are viable, like Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur (they get mega evolutions in gens 6-7 and gigantamax forms in Sword and Shield), and a few others, but the majority of starter pokemon are just downright outclassed in competitive battling.
A few of the pokemon he mentioned would be better than Brionne in certain formats. Foongus with Eviolite would be good in lower tiers like RU, NU, PU, or Little Cup. Talonflame, while it is a one-trick pony, with Gale Wings, is WAY better than Brionne. Gourgeist-L or S are both way better. Their physical defense is among the highest in the game, for grass pokemon. They're great physical walls who hit back hard in return. Plus, their ghost typing makes them great Rapid Spin blockers. Tyrantrum is also a great physical wall/physical attacker. The only thing it lacks is speed and special defense, but good players can work around that. Baton Pass it a few speed boosts and swords dances from Ninjask and it'll wreck your whole team if you're not running focus sash on a good special attacker with a super effective move against it.
So yeah, Brionne might be a pokemon you like personally, and that's fine, but it's not better than all the pokemon that guy listed and it's not even close. The only thing Brionne has going for it is that it has decent special attack. The rest of its stats are 81 or below, with a base speed of 50. Brionne isn't good for competitive battling.
Pretty funny that Wormadam-T and Lumineon has 69 Attack and Special Attack, lol.

Each eeveelution has a statboostingmove and baton-pass, so instead of switching you can keep the statboost;

Vaporeon - acid armor/ glaceon - barrier
Espeon/sylveon - calm mind
Leafeon - swords dance
Umbreon - double team (for the extra trolls)
