I used the broken handle of a porcelain cup. I cut an A3 size broken frame to fit an A4 frame. The line was not as clean as yours but am happy it worked.Thank you

A useful video.
Glass cutters secret:
Put kerosene in a small glass jar and put crushed camphor (karpoor ) in it and stir.
Take a piece of hacksaw blade and tie wrapped cloth around it, to make an applicator.
Apply this along the length to be cut and then take the cut.
Don't use wood as it will suck up the kerosene.

Even any shape is cut on intermac cnc machines...hardly anyone cuts glass

Yes just find a way to hold the bottle steady but able to rotate while cutting a straight line. You can break the bottle along the cut by placing in boiling water, then ice water back and fourth till it breaks. (Takes one to a few tries)
