I can't say i have a favorite company. But my new love the HANKE 2O and 24 inch hard shell suitcases. The main reason i chose this company was because they sell hard shell cases without the clam shell opening. I don't like clam shell but i also don't like soft side. So i finally found a hard shell with a soft shell TOP LID. I did find one I liked that had latches instead of zippers, but the heavier weight was a deal breaker for me.
That is definitely the hard part with hard shell is that these have the latches so there really isn’t much wiggle room. I haven’t heard of that company, looks like I need to look it up.
@@andiwallace Hanke Sells top lid AND clam shell. So you really have to pay attention to the description and pics. P.s. Clam shell is especially cumbersome for the larger check I size bags. I stayed at a Japanese Hotel for 2 days and they had no closets or drawers. So opening up a heavy clam shell tip was annoyingly heavy.
What’s your favorite carry on luggage company?
