I tried it but the equal breathing starts too fast for me, I noticed that the 4 minutes at the beginning, of soft talking, telling us to relax, to feel and notice our body and to breathe and take breaths to "stretch" our lungs actually relaxes me a lot! And when the equal breathing starts often I am so relaxed that I often doze off a little and dream and then I hear the last of the 4 equal breaths, and either the same happens for 5 and 6, or I am already sound asleep! Depending on the day (or night, I work nights) I've had. But I say to each his own! You gotta try to see what you, or your body/mind likes!

Having to hold me breath and breathe more makes me focus only on my breath and his voice, making my mind forget my thoughts. 👍🏼

I have been loving my Bellabeat app breathing exercises. I discovered them when I was going through the app, since I usually use it for my workout plans, and my sleep has been getting so much better since I started using them.
I have horrible anxiety an I had a migraine when I found this an I’m scared of not feeling well so I was super anxious an this made me feel so much better I’m definitely saving this (Still 2 months later an I use this for my anxiety breathing an it saves me everytime to help my breathing calm down)
I had my karate grading today and I listened to this and I was so relaxed I literally could not move and fell asleep within minutes of it finishing well done I love these vids

I can’t sleep more then 2hrs at a time and I get panic attacks laying in bed bcuz it’s hard to breath through my nose smh I have to sleep in a recliner.

I agree completely! The equal pause between inhale, hold & exhale helps me to maintain focus!
