Let me know if there are any rules giving you trouble and I'll do my best to answer your question! Who knows, one of the next videos could be about it!
One rules question that came up this week at a store was: 1) zuccuss was in play 2 punishing one was in play for opponent 3) relentless pursuit captures punishing one under zuccuss 4) bounty was played on zuccuss (I think it was top target but shouldn’t be important) 5) zuccuss was defeated Should punishing one come in ready? We ruled that it shouldn’t since it doesn’t see the defeat trigger but the rules state when the unit that has captured another unit leaves play the captured unit is returned immediately which makes me second guess that.
It's scenarios like this that make the game great, right? I agree with how you decided to resolve this. According to 8.34.1 A captured card is considered out-of-play while captured, but is still public information to all players. so you are right, punishing one's ability can't trigger since it's not considered to be in play the moment zuccuss is defeated.
Hi, if a player has krayt dragon and the opponent plays uwing how much dmg is the dragon dealing¿ just 7 or 7 + every printed cost in the cards played by the u-wing for free? Same with vader. And when u play a card from smuggle the dragon deals printed cost the cost u paid for the card? Ty! We had lot of problems with the dragon today in a tourtnament in spain
Thanks for tuning in! U-wing and Vader both state that the cards are played so yes, Krayt's ability will trigger for each of those cards and the damage will be calculated based on their printed cost, despite the fact they are played for free. Playing cards using smuggle will also trigger the ability and the damage it should deal is equal to the printed cost of the card.
@@heroldthiele the game should end immediately at the resolution of for a cause I believe in causing you to win. Krayt trigger should not happen from what I understand
Good question! Since For a Cause is an event, it has to fully resolve before resolving the ability of Krayt. According to rule 5.6.1. A game ends immediately once a player’s base reaches 0 remaining HP and is defeated. A player whose base is defeated loses the game, and their opponent wins the game. Now imagine playing For a cause in this scenario, only to find out that there are less than 3 heroism cards in the top4 of your deck :D

@@jonahsaltmarsh2320 Hey, thanks for watching! Do you have some specific initiative related question in mind?
@@Oneidos_Gaming All the pass pass or end of round last actions. Basically a primer for new players, as this has come up alot at my locals. TY
I actually used Force Lightning like that a couple of weeks ago but my opponent insisted he should deal 6 damage to my base...
@@APSTLSL Point him to this video 😂
Question:
When you play captured unit using Dryden Vos does it "When played" trigger ?
Good one! Yes, since the captured unit is not being rescued but played due to Dryden's ability, "When played" triggers as usual.
@@Oneidos_Gaming thanks

If the opponent has Krayt Dragon out and i play a unit with the keyword sheilded does the Krayt trigger killing the unit before it gets it sheild?
You get to choose the order of the when played triggers so I believe you can shield it before krayt goes off if you choose
@@Gamer3171nice tactical choices there: damage to unit or base? Do I give Krayt the opportunity to kill the unit before the shield?
Nice one! You, as the active player, get to choose which player will go first as far as resolving the triggered abilities of their cards is concerned.
Enter the Dragon!
What happens if both bases sit at 3 HP.
And I play FoACauseIBelievIn, killing my opponent:
does Krayt kill me as well?
Is it a draw?!
