I just bought this rack two weeks ago. I bought it directly from the manufacture instead of Amazon and it ended up being $12 cheaper with a coupon code I found online. Plus, I hate supporting Amazon and it came much faster than if it was from Amazon to us, because we are rural. I haven’t really had a chance to try it out yet because my Olympic bar doesn’t show up until tomorrow. But I already bought the dip bar attachment for it. I plan to use the pull up bar so I’m going to be looking into some type of sticky thin padding I can put up there. I don’t want to put any thing on it that will eventually wear off leaving me to have to remove it scratching up that orange paint.
I’d recommend getting some hockey stick tape to wrap the pull-up bar with. Or any athletic white/black wrapping tape. I have a question, do you have a link to the pulley set up you have? I’m only finding the one where it’s a single cable for low and high. Thanks!
I'm glad you liked it. There are so many benches that it's overwhelming but check out Gluck's channel. He did a bunch of affordable ones called fly bird's sold on Amazon. I was lucky. My friend gave me his old one.
Sorry my comment was unclear. At 1:51 you say “if you want to be able to use a lot of different attachments then this rack isn’t for you.” What do you mean by that?
How bad is the grip on the pullup bar ? Im mainly focusing on calisthenics and want to upgrade from a cheap cap 120 dlls squat pull-up bar to this to be able to use the different kind of neutral and slanted grips on the pullup bar but this comment you made has me really waiting on buying it. I usually use liquid chalk and don’t really know if this would be an issue with the bar . I will buy the dip attachment and mainly use it for squats , benchpress and pullups while i also will get the additional pullup bar that is detachable to do australian pullups
There's no slanted grips on this pull-up bar unfortunately. If you're interested in buying it, I recommend you use liquid chalk. I almost returned it because I didn't like the pull-up bar. Just make sure you add weights to the post to weigh it down or bolt it off you going to use it for calisthenics.
@@chriskim457 is it posible to install the weight plates holders in the back opposed to the sides . I saw a picure and i see some holes in the back so that the plates en up horizontally stacked like pancakes opposed to on the side

good review. I have the sunny health stationary bike it is good quality. If this goes back to under $300 again I am going to purchase.
you should get some like 50 grit sandpaper and scuff up the paint on the pull up bar.
I was thinking about it BUT I don't want to ruin the appearance yet
Hey man love your honest and humble review.
Thank you glad you enjoyed it!

I have looked everywhere for supports for extra original sunny discs but the company does not quote the parts and online it is impossible to count
Quick question boss those cables you have attached to the rack can you use them for flys ?
If so can u direct me to where to purchase thay setup ?
Hi I got them on Amazon. They're the yes4all ones.
Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome. Thank you for watching!
Dope review. I'm gonna pull the trigger and buy this power rack. Any word on an affordable bench?

@@chriskim457 Bet man, appreciate it
If I wanna be able to use different types of attahcements it’s not for me?? You cant put a rope on the pulley?
How so? As a lat pull down? They sell attachments for this but not many.

I wish you could make a video showing you use the last pull down attachment, the tricep push down and cable curl.
@@gr7927 they don't make a lot of accessories or attachments for this style of rack. It uses no standard .80" holes. The standard on a 2x2 rack is 1"
@@gr7927 you mean the lat tower that attaches to the rack? I can do that.

@@Chinok that should work but I haven't tried it myself
idk just a thougth but u maybe could wrap the bar in electrical tape... but obviously would look weird and not sure if it would help
@@K84r7 no I think it's a good idea. I just never got around to it. Thanks for the suggestion bud!
