I remember the one twilight zone where he had a toy phone that he could speak with his deceased grandmother and I think he played the mysterious boy who could wish anything he wanted. He was a great guy and actor!!
Those were the days! I was 7 yrs old when I started watching lost in space, Dr who and star trek with my dad in the tv room butterfly chairs. I've been a sci fi enthusiast ever since! 😘 to Bill Mummy and William Shatner. RIP Spock
I loved this show as a kid! Saturday afternoons Irwin Alan's greatest hits, Lost in Space, Land of the Giants (which I'm convinced was written after seeing Doctor Who's Planet of Giants with William Hartnell!) and The Time Tunnel (no-one ever talks about that one, but it was brilliant!). Now as an adult I enjoy them as much as I did all those years ago. American TV has gone downhill now, even Star Trek isn't as good as it used to be. My favourite character was always Dr. Smith. He was a scheming coward, but I always thought he had a good heart despite what he got up to every week! And who doesn't love the Robot B-9?!
Actually the “Time Tunnel” was my favourite Irwin Allen show, “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea” was my second place and “Lost in Space” was my third place. Never cared much for “Land of the Giants”.
To me the star of the show was the Robot. Had a great toy version of it when I was a kid that lit up and rolled on its tracks. Wish I still had it even though they do see similar versions of it.
Robby the Robot isn't the same as Robot B-9 from LiS, they're two different robots. Robby did make a guest appearance in LiS, but I can't remember the episode off hand. Just looked it up, it's actually two episodes: "War of the Robots" and "Condemned of Space", I apparently forgot one of them!
Looking back it was a very silly and kind of stupid show. But as kids we didn't care about that. Pretending was a common thing for 60's kids. I loved this show. We honestly never took any of this seriously. Never thinking it was possibly our future...living in space. But it was fun and I looked forward to watching every episode.
Guy Williams appeared in five episodes of Bonanza during the 1963-1964 season as Will Cartwright, nephew of Ben and first half-cousin to Adam, Hoss and Little Joe. Pernell Roberts was already making his dissatisfaction of the Adam character known at that time, and there was talk he would leave at the end of the season and Williams, as Will, would take his place in Cartwright household. However, Roberts decided to return, and some cast members were unhappy with the presence of another Cartwright character, so he was written out of the show. In his last appearance, Triangle (May 17, 1964) he stole Adam's fiancée and rode off with her, never to be seen again. (When Roberts left for good after the 1964-1965 season, Williams was offered to return as Will, but opted for Lost In Space instead.)
A new boy came to my junior high school. It was Billy Mumy. The girl I liked asked him what was his favorite TV show. Billy said Star Trek. I thought he was a traitor. I'm glad he didn't point his finger at me.. saying that I was a bad boy, a very very bad boy.
You are not fooling. Sure, it was a comical show, however, I still love watching it whenever it's on, mainly to hear what Dr. Smith calls The Robot. Thousand times better than Star Trek..
I was a young kid when this came out, and I saw all the shows during their first run. Even as a young boy, I had a super crush on Penny a.k.a. Angela Cartwright. 😍
Great Presentation! Actor " GUY WILLIAMS " will always be remembered by me for his role in " ZORRO ". I suppose this is because he portrayed a type of SUPER HEROE something like BAT MAN for example.
I'm glad they all still has careers after the show but I think Bill mumy had the better one Lost in space was definitely one of my favorites for sure I was born in the early 60s so yeah loved it
There were only three characters in the cast: Will Robinson, Dr. Smith, and the robot. All the others were “extras”. The most absurd episode was the first one. Dr. Smith tried to murder the entire crew but fumbled the plan and got caught on board as “stowaway” - and the legitimate crew has the attitude of, “silly Dr. Smith!” Very strange! I believe I have watched every episode - most of them during the war as it was a regular on the Armed Forces Television Network. I never got tired of the bickering between Dr. Smith and the robot! Or the robot saying, “Danger, Danger…”!
I met June Lockhart she spoke to my class when I was a child .Apparently her and my teacher lived out near the bay in Ocean city MD or something like that

Of course not. None of these videos have honest thumbnails. They are created by idiots desperate for views. I always thumbs down for clickbait thumbnails and titles. It's the only way you can try to get them to stop doing it. They're all over TH-cam.
Sorry to hear of Bill Mummy's passing. I'm surprised. He was on Geoege Noris talk show not too long ago. Will miss him. Sincerely. A fan. GOD bless Will Robinson!😢
That pic of Young Billy Mumy and that supposedly old sick Billy Mumy is so false. Nothing wrong with him at all. this is just obvious click bait garbage!!!
Many people don't know that Billy Mumy was part of the Barnes and Barnes duo. They had a profoundly obscure song called "Fish Heads" which was in somewhat frequent rotation in the early days of MTV. Probably because there were relatively few music videos out yet, and Mumy had some clout. If you catch yourself singing along with it, you are old! Lol! th-cam.com/video/cn73Wtem0No/w-d-xo.html
Billy Mumy is also an excellent guitarist who played in a band with the late Miguel Ferrer on drums. (Oh, and let my just add that I had a crush on Angela Cartwright.)
I think you have a good plan. It would be a terrible shame to scrap the car considering it is totally complete apart from the engine and trans. which is available…….and so rare. If you get it roadworthy then maybe move it on for someone to finish off. Hopefully recoup your money and make a bit to account for your time. You don’t want it to be a money pit so stopping after getting it roadworthy is a good plan. As you say, you can get a lot done in the Winter months. Great to see it all dry. You have made quite a lot of progress already.
Don't even bother with this! The thumbnail implies that Billy Mumy has died. I just checked, and he's alive and well. TH-cam, your viewers deserve better than this garbage!
That was not a 1965 picture. It was probably taken in 1967, but no later than 1968. We also see week videos of an alive and well Bill Mumy. The content creator is a filthy liar.
I don't believe the narrator is pronouncing his name correctly. I'm64 years old and I've never heard it pronounced that way. MooMe? No way. It's supposed to sound just like it's spelled: Mumy.
Some titbits of interesting information, but too much attention to characters who appeared in only a few episodes, plus AI-generated flat commentary with misplaced stress on syllables and mispronunciation. Presumably authored outside America and the script reflects a flat-footed approach and a genuine fan of this programme would have written something a lot more appealing and spicey.
Will you please stop it with your bs "before and after" fake photos when you know they arent true? This is the reason I wont watch your crap! I wonder how many would watch if you actually told the truth?
