The second part of our motorcycle travel mini-series following 3 friends and our adventures travelling through some of the most iconic spots in the south of Wales, after riding along the beach we headed to Baffle Haus for some much needed food and finished off the day riding along the incredibly scenic Gospel Pass.

Went to that mountain pass today because of this video.
Wales truly is a bikers playground, I live in Bristol and whenever I have time for a short 2-3 hours ride I cross the bridge and head any direction, yes the road surface could be better in places but the views are amazing, twisties always entertaining and Welsh drivers are super vigilant and accommodating to bikers. my route of choice for a quick blast is Chepstow - Tintern - Monmouth - Lydart - Devauden - Itton Common - Chepstow.
also, what mirrors are do you have on your scrambler? Mine on 2019 Street Triple are useless, they fold at 50 mph....
I wouldn't dream of making fun of you! I once told my Quaker meeting that some of my peak moments of worship were out on the bike. "At Play in the Fields of the Lord"! To relate just one experience - we left home and got into rain pretty early on that day. It was still raining when we got to the hotel, and when we rode out to dinner. The next morning, heavy low overcast but no actual rain, that was OK. We rode across the valley, and headed up into the mountains. We were quickly in the clouds, crawling our way up and up, barely able to see. Then, just as we were reaching the top of the mountain, we came out above the clouds - a sea of bright white all round us! We crested the mountain and better still, there was no cloud cover over the next valley at all. Just a bright green vista as far as we could see. Incredible joy. And, it didn't rain for the remaining three days of the trip!

wales 🏴 has some amazing scenery , I get to baffle haus pretty often , north wales and llanberis pass is a must if you ever get out that way , Snowdonia in my opinion has nicest scenery in Wales 🏴 , might be biased it’s my back yard 🏴🙌

Thanks mate, thats awesome to hear and you'll def love it. There's around 6-7 hours of riding from that day that I didnt include in the video which was just as fun to ride on but obv had to just pick the very best/most scenic bits for the sake of the video.

Haha you're definitely right, I do ride a lot in the south of england on weekends but unfortuantely the majority of my riding is commuting to work in central london 😢

Mate i live in Surrey - Cobham. Recently had to sell my Scrambler 1200XE and loved it. Now a Harley Rider just to tick it off. Great video. Love Wales
Nice how do you find the Harley compared to the Scrambler? I really enjoy riding in Surrey actually go to Rykas quite often, if you ever spot me there definitely say hi and we'll grab a coffee.

@@dream_o2w Currently I own both a 2018 Honda rebel 500, and a 2019 Scrambler 900. Both bikes feel a little small for me, but I look like a circus bear on a tricycle on the Honda since I'm 6'3 lol. I keep it because my daughter rides it sometimes also. I'm defiantly looking forward to having a bike that fits me lol. I'm leaning toward a 2023 1200 xe with the black sapphire tank and the Triumph raised nameplate on the tank instead of the logo. I also want to put the total triumph slash cut exhaust on as well.

You have so many iconic motorbike spots in the Uk but in the other hand UK have so much shity weather all year round, I guess you can’t have it all ahah but I have to say I love that Uk motorcycle culture anyway 😎✊🏼
Thanks bro, yes this is exactly it! The UK in general is really nice but we dont appreciate it as we're so used to seeing these places when its grey and wet 😅 Agree the motorcycle culture here is really good, is it different in Portugal?
@@dream_o2w Here we have better weather than in the UK (true fact), great roads, good off-road routes and some well-known events/festivals, but in terms of motorbike culture and places of worship we don't have much compared to you... there's no Bikeshed, no Ace Cafe, Ton-Up Boys, etc... not to mention the brands, Triumph, Norton, Royal Enfield, BSA, etc.
You Brits are so lucky to have all this motorbike history that will stay with you forever!
