Thanks so much and really glad you enjoyed it! Arguably they're "better" bikes and more suited for this sort of riding but the scramblers hold their own not to mention Matt's awesome Africa Twin.

Haha you're definitely right, I do ride a lot in the south of england on weekends but unfortuantely the majority of my riding is commuting to work in central london 😢

That sheep comment made me laugh 🤣Thank you and agreed the roads are truly incredible not only in the most scenic spots but pretty much everywhere around the south of Wales (maybe with the exception of in the actual towns but thats obv to be expected) I had so much fun riding around can't wait to come back and explore more of Wales, it really is a gem.

Yes, I've been riding (and still really into it) for 46yrs, I own/ride a 2008 DL1000 V-Strom along with a 2007 Honda SilverWing 600cc maxi-scooter.....both fabulous machinery. I'd recommend you try ride the NC500 route, either clockwise or anti-clockwise rotation wise, but head for the Isle Of Skye, you could easily spend a full day there easily, so beautiful, on Skye aim for Neist Point etc.... Or generally try stick to the upper West coastline, just utterly sublime....!!!!!! Places like; Shieldaig - Kylesku Bridge - Invergarry - Applecross (Bealach na Ba) - Gairloch - Salen - Sanna Beach - Ullapool - Portree on Skye - Plockton - are all totally wonderful/spectacular venues to ride to on two wheels...!! Also how bad is the midge situation in summer as tbh I was initially thinking of going in a couple of weeks but have seen a lot of posts saying that its quite bad especially as most likely I'd be camping for the majority of the trip.

Thank you mate and yeah so many good roads around Wales, as I mentioned on one of the other comments i didn't use 90% of the footage that I filmed (I had over 9 hours of POV footage haha) and pretty much most of the roads were amazing to ride on.

@@dream_o2w your welcome mate love the colours of your filming,what camera do you use / setting to achieve the dark look??

@@ALL_4_WHEELS So the majority of it is the colour grading in the edit using DaVinci resolve. But my DJI Osmo settings are 30fps with a manual shutter speed of 1/60 and shooting in D-log (I also use ND filters). If its helpful I can make a video of my filming set up and go into more detail there?

Agree, great video content but the music was a bit loud (still liked it). The yellow filter was a bit much for me, made Wales look like outback Queensland.

@@GiantClock69 and @darrenhall6509 thank you both for your feedback, will work on getting the audio levels a bit better next time its sometimes tricky as on my main speakers it sounds balanced but you're right when listening on my laptop it was a bit loud. These are the first videos I've made so it's a learning process so massively appreciate you guys letting me know. Also in terms of the colours it was more a stylistic choice which I get might not be to everyone's liking and maybe you're on to something as I secretly do want to visit the Outback in Australia haha. Either way thank you both for watching and hope you still enjoyed the videos despite these issues 👊

Honestly I don't blame you, you very lucky mate. I've only been to Snowdonia to hike before and its also really beautiful you should def check it out, I'm also planning to go there soon on my motorbike as well.

Live just outside Neath, having lived previously in Bristol. The Beacons half an hour in one direction, the Gower half an hour the other and great biking roads everywhere on the doorstep. Wouldn't change it, it never gets old.....unlike me!! 😂

Mate, you are very lucky! Honestly pretty much 90% of the roads around here, even the ones which are just connecting all the small towns were incredible to ride along, very jealous!

Bro its such an underrated route, everyone mentions going to Gospel Pass and Black Mountain Pass but I actually think Elan Valley was one of my favourites especially for the riding itself. Also thank you bro for watching the mini series, really appreciate it 👊

I'm not sure what comment you're referring to as TH-cam automatically blocks certain comments if it deems them inappropriate/ containing abusive language. Also as I mentioned in the video we spoke to the local council afterwards and smoothed things over and additionally I added a disclaimer within the video specifying that you can no longer ride on the beach and to check with the local council first.

And it appeared in your comments section for everyone to read. And it was still there a while later when I checked for your response. So who took it down?

Hey Trudy, likewise thanks so much for your hospitality and the food was great! Exactly what we needed after being up on an empty stomach since 4am 😁 I know, I would have loved to have captured more footage of your awesome cafe, tbh we were so knackered at that point that we just needed to sit down and rest haha but would love to come back to Pendine it's such a beautiful town so will definitely stop by when I do and also hopefully have the right permissions this time to get on the beach 😅

Most definitely, next time I'm in south Wales we'll have to grab that coffee haha. And yh tbh once he started speaking to us he was really nice about it and just asked that we don't go back on the beach which is completely understandable. But we genuinely had no idea as if you google it everywhere says you can ride on the beach (although having now checked again those articles are from a few years ago). Surprisingly the few locals that were up and about at that time were all really nice to us and stopped by for a chat and to admire the bikes.

@@dream_o2w It is annoying because the beach gets used regularly. For example this weekend the British Hot Rod Association are running on it. And soon there's a whole MX weekend. It confuses me and I live here :D
