I ran into a similar problem. Seems another cause for this issue is if you disable part of your headset in audio device settings. In my case I have a studio mic attacked to my desk via a boom arm. So I disabled the mic on the headset. Which made it appear as "Disabled" in the GHUB drivers. I re-enabled it, and everything was fine.
You must press at the same time: On-off button and mic button 3-5 second. Its get reset headset and then press reset button on usb 3-5 seconds. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i tried to do it, and it worked without doing anything. Uninstall the G hub, and install it back, and only connect your headset when the software is installed. do check Accessibility in system preferences. Hope that will help you.

Your approach is so on point mate. Im trying to convert this solution in my case where i have g29 wheel, i got rid of the inactive situation but on g hub there is no input for the wheel and pedals. Steering the wheel and its still on zero and no movement at all for pedals when i push them. Now that i just watched your video, i am guessing that this also might be bc of driver. Because i see two g29 racing wheel in device manager. Please someone give me a hand, i am frustrated by this already.

I have a G933, it wont connect to the usb my console would say headset connected but the usb would still be blinking but my headset is on just wont connect not even while connected to the usb through wired to add and update or anything. so its been to years and have had them stored.

I converted my headset to "generic usb" on purpose so that I can use loudness equalization. Did not know this makes logitech link hub fail. Hmm not sure what to do now. I need loundess equalization really badly!

Tried this and fixed my headset, couldn't be happier since it wasn't faulty. Don't need to unplug and in everytime my pc starts.

I've found another fix for this. Just go in the sound control panel and enable your microphone. This works if the headset shows as DISABLED in G HUB.
i dont know how or why, but this fixed the issue with my Logitech G560 speakers showing inactive in GHub, thank you!

This didn't work for me, as nothing in my sound was disabled. I uninstalled, and reinstalled ghub, then everything worked fine again!
