My buddy Daniel Lawson invited me onto his boat to chase down bonito and Spanish Mackerel busting on the surface!
The morning got off to a slow start but things picked up for a WILD finish!!

Where were you guys at? I know NC but where did you go out at and how far out were you from the beach. I went out about 1 mile off the beach from Wrightsville Beach this past Sat but it was pretty rough. Got one Bonito and 7 Spanish Mackerels. Doing something similar to what. you guys were doing, had 2 rods trolling, one deep diver and one planer with a spoon. Wanted more Bonito though.

1-Turn the clicker off on those trolling reels. 2-Bleed those bonito and you’ll have a tastier filet.
