- Fusebox consumer unit change.
On this episode we are upgrading a consumer unit to a Fusebox RCBO consumer unit with SPD protection.
I am also joined by my first apprentice(now long gone) Christian

Hi,
TLDR: When you do a 18mm block size label on the printer, does it line up with the CP Fusebox board, if so can you check the version of firmware on the label machine?
I been having issues when making patch panel style labels directly on the printer without the app.
If I do a block size of 18.1mm the sizing is out after a few blocks, via the app its correct. (the blocks line up with multiples of 18.1mm)
I logged this issue with brother which was passed onto their development team and state its "working to spec". (I am waiting for an email confirming what the mean)
However the support person said someone else has reported this issue, and stated it worked fine on older firmware (2018ish), which the development team say is not correct.
I am running version 1.25, I was wondering if you had an old version you could test with?

Hi Tom,
I don't think I have updated the firmware since I bought the printer so must still be on factory version.
On 18mm mine lines up perfectly with the Fusebox c/u's
I don't use the app as I couldn't pair it
It's been a while since Adam has been in the videos, is he OK and is he still your current apprentice?
I think Dean mentioned that Adam is doing something else now in a previous video
