Max boost acceleration and drift acceleration. Karts with a max of 5/7 or 7/5 in these stats are the best. For new players, max out boost duration and boost charge amount to have a more comfortable time maintaining constant boosts. I recommended also allocating 1 gear into Boost Guage Protection after Wall Collision. I currently run 5/7/8/4/2/0/10/0 for time attack but start boost and draft won't be very beneficial for a beginner.

I don't recall seeing the shortcut in the under the bridge straight on KRR+ or KRD; did they just cut it? Doesn't seem like it was useful either way
it exists! If you take it, you won't be able to drag around the donut at a good angle though. I don't think it's useful.
