Looks very promising. Love the implementation of single player. The pre painted minis are a nice signature component I’ve come to expect from your projects. Four pages of rules is very important, hopefully it is that nice simple/complex design that has approachability and depth.
I love civilization games. Looking forward to seeing how this one plays.
It makes me tingle having playtested with cubes to represent the income buildings; PnP for all of the cards, landmarks, and board; and the myriad rules-revisions, especially on the Automa side. It's a stunning work of art and look forward to this one very, very much!

How do I pay for food now?
I like the look of the gameplay but I think the board feels a bit clunky. With it being square and the tracks on each side, it takes up quite a lot of space, once you put the player/automa boards in you're going to have to do quite a lot of reaching to get to/see everything. Perhaps if the board was a little longer and shallower with the tracks on the side you could then get the player boards underneath the main board and reach/see everything really comfortably.
Looks distilled and fun. Pre painted is great to see as well. Cant wait!

Big fan of stop motion (Fantastic Mr. Fox is my favorite movie), and this worked beautifully as a board game teaser trailer. Great idea!

I'm excited about it. Honestly, Scythe didn't look like much at the first video like this. It took me about 3-4 plays to really get what it was about. Not because it was complicated, but because I always make things out to be like that (harder and more complicated that what they are). I know he's been grooming this basic idea for awhile and I'm interested in his take on it. Viticulture was an instant love, Scythe is my absolute favorite game...so I'm sure this will be no exception!
Just ordered a copy w/ extra dice. Looks very promising and, as said, just 4 pages of rules!??! Love the pre-painted minis!!!

Dunno if due to the lighting or angle, but the "prepainted minis" were the least impressive part of the video. They don't match the vibrancy of the board or the cards.

Not yet, but there will be. The game doesn't really have any mechanisms that resemble Scythe.
@@jameystegmaier Thank you for the reply. I'm a huge fan of Scythe and SM designs ;] (the fan part I realised after a few full games of Scythe - including digital - and deciding to paint the minis) I'm looking to buy Euphoria as well. Can't wait for Tapestry gameplays! #hype

Call me sceptical but shouldn't a trailer include a USP or... just a selling point? Or is it just a pretty game about resource allocation. It does look nice but I learnt nothing except how pretty it is, and all retail games are pretty now. Its a given.

@@thediceodyssey4690 Hey! Yeah, I'm good, thanks! Just got a WGT? game in yesterday in a group of 6. All humans, all survived, all boarded, plenty points... Party! All that without Dr. Copper and with time pressure, since we wanted to get the playtime down, so everyone had a timer ticking down. We got the playtime down from about 4 hours to 2 hours and 31 minutes. It helped. Yeah!

Replect great, just got back from GENCON and trying to get all that footage up. I brought WGT with me. Had a great time and really excited about Tapestry!
