@@dylanfrancis5996 I miss in New Gundam Breaker where it would tell you exactly what MS each weapon went to, even if it wasn’t in the part name. I mean thank god for wikis and G Generation Cross Rays which uses the actual weapon names, like the various and CONFUSING melee weapons in SEED. (It took me way too long to figure out the Experimental Twin Beam Saber/Javelin* (Depending on what game you’re playing it may go by either name.) went with the Akatsuki, which makes sense since it’s shield is also an Experimental named part, the Experimental Type 71 Shield.) Or the fact that many of the SEED Destiny era Mobile Suits use the Vajra Beam Saber, while first gens use the same Beam Saber as the Strike (which apparently became a standardized design with the G-Weapons, the only one not using these being the Buster and its variants, which had no melee weapons but instead had close range weapons like an anti armor shotgun in one of its multi-cannons.) Not to mention, the fact that the Astray units use weapons that were adopted by many other units in the series. Like the fact the Gold Frame originally used the Gae Bulg railgun that the Duel used, and then it used the Mirage Colloid shield unit used by the Blitz when it was refitted into the Amatsu. And the Blue Frame using the same Bazooka as the Strike, along with proprietary missile pods derived from the Launcher Striker Pack. The Astrays are their own can of worms, that I cannot fully go into in one comment alone. And the fact that not all of them have been in a Gundam Breaker yet. (As of now the only game that’s included ALMOST all of them is G Generation Cross Rays, with only the base Lord Astray and the base Amatsu Hana being excluded. The Mars Jacket, Delta Astray, Out Frame D, Astray Mirage Frame, pretty much every variant of the Red and Blue Frames (up to and including Astray Blue Frame D and Astray Red Dragon) and the Lord Astray Omega and Gold Frame Amaterasu (last two were DLC but my god is the Omega fuckbusted.) But yeah. Probably more QoL fixes we need to wait on.
As somebody who runs a custom Strike Freedom build. Super DRAGOON on the backpack is definitely used for the mobility boost more than the all range attack. You can also couple this with the Trans-Am from a GN Reactor builder part (like I do) to get what I like to call “Get-your-day-fucked-up-in-30-microseconds speed”
The extra large mace is op but I feel like it's kinda justified considering how much you can spam martial arts ground break after you break everything and does more DPS than *THRUST*
extra mace is more precision when fighting extremely annoying Prefect Grade Boss, especially on NEwtype difficulty, nukes and mace cause those boss one shot you and need to kill them asap.
Yeah. I find those using mace and atomic builds to be playing the game just to finish it or be on leaderboards. Which is fine to play it that way, but this game is about Gunpla. It is about expression and having fun with your imagination. Not beating a game or copying others. I do use Atomic Bazooka because it was part of my build in GB3. But I don’t use it as a crutch. And the most fun I’ve had with this game is seeing everyone’s crazy creations in the lobby. When I see the an atomic mace build I could care less, but when I see the Titan Submarine in my lobby I have the biggest wow face on.
Yeah, that's the beauty of this game. I run funnels despite them being bad because I like the idea of swarming the enemy with gunfire from all sides. It's not like the game is that demanding so just play with what you want. Sadly, that also means people will want to play with the strongest weapons or builds. It's how it is.
I really wish that you could master gun and melee effects(the latter to some extent like beam axe using saber moveset and damage), so you weren't just locked to a weapon that you don't like the look of, but like the effects. And it would really help the imbalance between atomic bazooka and other ranged weapons if their damage weren't so comedically low in comparison.
I find the DMG is fine on the MACE moveset but the duration of the move needs to only last a set amount of time while mashing the button and not for as long as it is now. I chose the extra large mace because its my fav weapon from IBO and when I by chance did the poke move I was "what the hell is that?"
mace took lance move but lance is way too weak sadly even at lvl 50, and worse it can't even groundbreak. Kinda wish they bring back weapon ex skills atleast since the lance's dragoon jump thing insta-kill broken enemies making it more viable even with lower dps. Also alternatively doing martial arts melee combo and cancelling it with air dash/dodge for infinites might be as good as mace coupled with cancel combo trait without being too broken(granted it takes two buttons to spam instead of one, and do slightly less). Wonder if they could've put ranking for most popular ex/burst actions too, stuff like double sword and seiso geri does ridiculous damage on pg for some reason, while decent skill like gundam spark somehow bugged and only do 1 damage against pg.
Before nerfing the mace, fix the PG battles. Those inflated HP and defense stats just drag the battle on without making it more fun. Its a chore to play through them on newtype. At least now the nace offers a way to get them done with quickly.
If I'm being real. I used the mace to farm the suit parts I wanted and benched it. Namely the master grade Leo parts and a few other types. The other weapons need a small boost to be competitive. Not clown shoes damage wise but they need to offer something.
Hate to say but i agree xD they're abit underpowered in BG4 even tho they're suppose to be as strong as axe weapon, the combo and heavy attack (lance lunge) are so delay and slow it just isnt fun to use.
the extra large mace does the rapid thrusts regularly if done without the aerial combo. The aerial combo is just bugged, for some reason, causing you to deal heavy attack DPS with each rapid thrust attack.
The double Gatling from serpent custom or double beam Gatling from unicorn is pretty good too. You just need 1 and it’ll fill your burst meter and health from health per hit.
Are the claws good? Ive been using them since i got them, and they *feel* super overpowered, but ive never seen anyone else using them, and i wonder if im just missing something
Unrelated question: Having just completed the campaign and unlocked Master Grade parts, do you know if Melee/Martial Arts/Claw come in MG? I know they're non-visual weapons that let you fight unarmed, so being larger technically does nothing, but I feel like it would upset the aesthetics by having a Gunpla made of MG parts equipped with an HG weapon.
I'm surprised Harute backpack is not in the ranking, i love launching GN missiles into the air and watch them hitting ennemies. ZZ does the same but Harute have also a beam attack
Extra Large Mace needs to be fixed. Im using my Twin Buster Rifle (Proto Zero) with over -100% Long Range Weapon Gauge Cost anyway. GB4 is easy guys, you dont need the damage glitch.
@@Jociaoftrades No, there's a cap on the cost reduction, 90% I believe. But it still gives a lot of extra shots, up to hundreds more if you have the high-speed rifles or machine guns.

its also goofy as hell that you can read what series a gun is from on the parts ranking board, but not in the goddamned build menu

The point of the game is to kill things fast. Nerfing any weapon isn't the answer and opens the door to any weapon being tampered with.
