You missed the DAL vs FLA game that had big billing as a potential cup finals match up. Very similar to the COL vs VAN game where DAL went up 3 goals only to loose to FLA 3-4. Had playoff vibes and both teams showcased huge talent.
5:20 I like that you mention the jerseys being part of the play when it comes to player psychology. At least a bit. I've always felt like the color and style of jersey really helps a teams ability and confidence in the long run. Looking at the canucks, if they went the yellow red black home jerseys more often I think they would play better some
My all time favorite Penguins player was Alexei Morozov. He scored back to back OT goals in 2003-04. In the second one, the team pulled the goalie (it wasn't Fleury, though he played earlier that year) and scored. That's when I learned the "lose your one point" rule. 🙂
“Ted lasso stuff” for the preds is pretty prime. As a somewhat casual hockey fan this channel is fantastic to educate me about the rest of the league outside my Predators.
That Saturday game between St. Louis and Minnesota was a good one -- bummed it didn't make it to the summary. Major points battle for the wild card in the West, too! The middle teams in the Central are really working hard.
The Avs vs Oil game was ELECTRIC! It felt like a playoff game all the way through. McDavid was dangerous every time he touched the puck. MacKinnon had multiple dominant shifts. In the end, it was depth scoring that made the difference.
Sure embellish your own storyline…in the end, at 0.5 in OT, a lapse in defensive coverage was the difference. Check that scoring summary again…none of Edmonton’s big guns came through, it was our depth players. Foegele’s typically a 3rd line forward who’s been rewarded for his strong play. Holland didn’t have the cap to address our need for a legitimate 2 line RW. 🇨🇦

I learned that the Avs are indeed a serious contender. As a fan, there was a point this year where I didn't believe they had what it took to go deep again. The new guys have all been fantastic in their roles, and Georgiev has a 2.32gaa and .921sv% over the past month.

The B's had a rough patch recnetly but they are heating up and starting to play better and better and just as we come into the playoffs.

As a Tampa fan it was terrifying to watch because the Panthers' offense was *so good*. Pucks just FLYING at the net, and Vasy working miracles to keep them out.

While I’m mad at my panthers performance this week the wild in that balls move always puts a smile on my face if they can’t make the play offs I’ll be genuinely bummed

(1) Leafs cup parade is cancelled
(2) If you believe in the Sabres, they'll always end up breaking your heart.
These things are a given almost every season, sometimes the sabres could have a enough to make a push but not really
