Oh Sigita, you are such wonderful artist, so generous in sharing tips and tutorials. We love your work and appreciate your amazing tutorials more than you know! Thank you so much...I can't wait to try this:-)
I have just found your page this early a.m. and I'm absolutely LOVING IT AND YOUR ACCENT 🌹 This is Cheryl From St.James Mo. Thanking You & Wishing you a Blessed Day 🌻
I've done this technique over and over again in the past few days and it works like a dream. The hardest part is washing the acrylic sheets. I put them on the counter and scrape the glue off with an old credit card then back in the soapy water. I've been using liquid mat medium instead of the glue because I like the mat finish. So easy. Thank you a hundred times.
Brilliant , you are making me smile , i never thought to put the napkin onto page with acetate , it comes off very nicely , thats great and so smooth , i end up lifting my napkin off while im trying to smooth it on with a brush , i will have to try this ., ty ty ty great video
I have seen this video sitting there with all your others and for the most part just ignored it then I saw it again today & thought maybe you had some trick that I don't know about and low & behold you did. OMgoodness this is sooo amazing. I had no idea it would be this easy. I had resigned myself to using a glue stick but as you probably know it leaves it a little shiny & I really don't like that. NOW problem solved. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing technique with us all. I'm just sorry I waited so long before watching it.
i just found this video u created. Oh my gosh! u have given such a clear tutorial! thank you, thank you thank you!!! i just finished six pages with ur decoupage instructions, amazing!!! i will always know these and step and share it with my crafty friends. thank you Sigita!!! ~ Ali
And don1t forget that you can put your napkins on not just on a paper or book page but on all things around you...like tables, shelves, chairs...endless posibilities.:)
thank you so much Sigita! I am going to decoupage for the rest of the day....right after i finish all my daily TO DO LIST....be blessed. ~ Ali from CALIfornia
Thank you for this tutorial, Sigita! It's the best explanation I've come across yet. I've already put this lesson to good use ... just waiting for my project to dry!
This is absolutely fabulous!!! I have been fighting with napkin to bookpage and was very frustrated but now I'm going to try this. Thank you so much for sharing. You rock!!
Oh Signita - This is fantastic !!!! I am sorry I found this a year later lol Ive doing it the hard way by just gluing the napkin right on the paper without using your spectacular method I just discovered today!! Great idea that I plan on trying :-) Thanks so much
I apologize for coming to your video and channel a bit late, but here I am. I recently bought some decorative napkins for this purpose, and Mod Podge matte finish. I wasn't sure whether to get matte or glossy Mod Podge, but I'll experiment with the matte. I'm hoping that a reasonable substitute for the acetate (which I could not find) might be a library book cover, and I have a spare to use for this project. I loved the page you made! I like that you tear the napkin, as that effect seems to nataurally lend itself to this kind of art. Thank you for a great video, Sigita. I'm looking forward to your other videos.
Just found this video and it is wonderful! You explained everything so well. I can’t wait to try this method I am so tired of having wrinkles in my decoupage. Thank you! I love your work!
10:40 Hello :) You do not need to do anything like that, nor complicated to use acetate. You just put the piece of paper napkin over the page of the book (the first layer only) and pass over it a soft brush and a decoupage glue. I've done it many times.
OMG Sigita this is amazing I love this tutorial and it looks so easy, BUT...... what is this "acetate" and where can I get that???? can I use laminate plastic sheet or what?????
