Thank you! I'm going to try this. I'm still learning my machines even though I've had them for almost a year. I don't really make the time to learn because of fear, etc. You made this look easy. Now it's just doing it.

This is great, thank you. When I change the size of the font I want printed the rhinestone size also changes, how do I change the printed size without changing the 0.135 rhinestone size?
Honestly there's not an easy way. Since the stones are fixed objects unlike vinyl, they need to stay the ss10 size unless you're changing to ss06. But even if you do that, your gaps need to stay around the right range or your flock will tear etc. But the good news is there's software that can let you move things around, like sil business, or what we use is the TRW Design Wizard paired with Corel Draw. The easiest option is to check our site and select a font by the size option needed (height/width) and just use the font that's already built for your needs :-) -TRW Crystal **We're live every Monday night, 8pmEST on our youtube channel showing how to work with various materials, and giveaways. Hi Matt thank you for the tutorial, yes please more design space. I am new on rhinestone I did bough rhinestone and a 3 cup bundle for Starbucks I’m just afraid of cutting not bowing if it will be the correct size, I guess I don’t want to waist flock 😂 I don’t have space for errors. But I will get the courage to just try and make it. Thank you 😊
@@TheRhinestoneWorld thank u rhinestone world for having the courtesy of answering questions. Some sites dont bother. is there a guide that you look at to tell you what size to choose for cutting rhinestones?
This was great. I have ideas but no way of knowing how 2 create them. Which brought me 2 TH-cam. But explained it very well. So that even I can understand. Thanks
Will there be one for brothers scan n cut? I bought your Starbucks designS, rhinestones, magic flock, glitter vinyl, color spark vinyl, etc... ready to go but having issues after download “Craft version svg”. Cricut comes in too big, while Brother SNC comes in incomplete&too small. I’m still struggling to get correct size to cut.
Awesome! Can you do more tutorials using rhinestones, vinyl, and layer using the Cricut Maker and Silhouette Cameo 4 15" cutter. Thank you for the time and effort you put into making these instructional videos for us.
Design Space doesn't have any rhinestone designing tools built in, so you'd need outside software or just upload a rhinestone design from our site. Use the CRAFTER files, since those will upload to Design Space easier. Or you can use a rhinestone TTF (True Type Font) from our site. Thanks! -TRW Pilar
I only have Cricut design but I’m tempted to purchase silhouette business edition software but my question is will I be able to use files from silhouette in Cricut Des.? If yes how would this be done? Thx
If you get Business Edition, you can create your designs in Silhouette and export as an svg file. Upload that to Design Space to cut. Cricut did one of their "updates" at the beginning of the year, so larger files can't be uploaded, but you can export your work as a png file to upload to Design Space, too. See how the templates in this video show the rhinestone design knocked out or sliced out of the template? Create your templates like that, so Design Space sees it as a single object and it will also load faster/easier for you. We like to put the dimensions of the templates in our Crafter files, so you can change the template size easily when in Design Space. Let us know if you have any other questions! -TRW Pilar
Honestly, Cricut Design Space isn't made to work with rhinestones, so it requires us to use a lot of shortcuts and workarounds. I would recommend getting a secondary software, such as Inkscape (my favorite because it's free) so you can get your dimensions and hole sizes from there before uploading to Design Space to resize. Give us a call at 941-755-1696 with any other questions! - TRW Haley
I love the videos! I was trying to resize the island time rhinestone font to make a hashtag statement on the front and back of my xl tee. I'm unable to get the correct size. What am I doing wrong? TIA!

hello do you know the dimension for ss16? Also I uploaded a svg to cricut but it got messed up in cricut design space. Is it because I have to upload the colors separately?
Hi there! We use .173" for ss16 stones. Most likely, the issue you're having is that Design Space is unfortunately limited. With our designs, we create special "Crafter" files to upload easier to Design Space. The software sees each template as a single object, because we've taken the time to knockout or slice out the rhinestones through the template and have just the template with a bunch of holes as the file. Was it one of our designs? -TRW Pilar
Is that size for every SS10 rhinestone? I am having a hard time with fonts that I bought from Etsy. The seller is not much help. His instructions said that the font size should match the height but it doesn’t change in Design Space.
I am having trouble with the Jelly Fish Multi design. It says there are too many layers to ungroup the file. When I size according to what is listed on the purchase Height - 7.3", the Width - 4.81 is slightly smaller than what is listed on the site as 4.9"... Please help
I would call our awesome call center! They will be able to help you with this. They are available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. You can reach them at 941-755-1696 -TRW Abby

Everytime I contour it won't let me just keep one circle. No matter how hard I hide them all, more than one circle comes up so I cannot get a size. What am doing wrong?
That was happening for me last week--I think Cricut did some sort of "update" to Design Space. Be patient and keep trying to contour, click the rectangle for the template to hide it and just show one circle. I kept getting 2 showing for the first 5 or 6 times I tried. Another option, which can be a bit tedious, would be to create a circle on the screen using Design Space's Basic Shapes tool. Resize that to .135" and drag it over the template, to see if the holes match the size of the circle. You want to get it as close as possible to fit the circle, but if you have the dots a teeny tiny bit bigger than .135", it should still be ok. If you make the dots smaller, it's very difficult to brush the rhinestones in. Also..don't forget to hide or delete that circle you made before sending your design to Make It. Hope this helps! -TRW Pilar
The contour can take a long time to load. We do provide the dimensions that the design must be in order for the holes to fit in, so you would just have to resize it!😊 -TRW Mireya
Unfortunately, this is the only way we know that works. Design Space was not designed to work with rhinestones, so we have to use a feature like this instead to make it work. -TRW Bri

ss10 rhinestones. :) -TRW Pilar
Every time I try this, the contour tab is grayed out and unusable. What am I doing wrong?
Have you welded your design first? Click off and then click back on to the design- the contour tab should be usable then! -TRW Caroline
after you got the 0.135, did you regroup each template? and also do you need to delete the yellow box?
I like to regroup them as I find it easier to move things around that way, but it's not necessary to do. Totally a preference thing!
