Such a brilliant way you arrange the story and plot into a cohesive 11 minute summary. I appreciate how you draw out certain plot lines and merge them organically to form this wonderful narrative. Thank you! I’m glad you appreciate how I arrange plot-lines to make the recap itself a cohesive story. It’s a part of the process I put a ton of work into, especially on a show like this with lots of characters who all have their own side stories 😁

Hm I’ve never studied Narratology exactly, but I’ve read the big screenwriting books Story and Save the Cat, both good reads. Besides that I’ve just watched a lot of TV and Movies, lol.

Way better than the "Let Me Explain" recap, that dude just spent most of the video trying to make jokes, this had some funny parts but focuses on giving all the info you need.

Yes! I watch these even if I’ve watched the show a bunch of times already, I just love the way he explains them. Especially when it’s something big happening like a death “oh no he got stabbed!!” It always makes me chuckle.

Thanks so much for this! The Netflix recap was trash and I didn't feel like watching season 1 all over again, so I started season 2 with a lot of questions that now have been solved thanks to this video :)

The way we consume media is totally different now. We binge-watch and we also don't have myriad ad campaigns/promos to associate with our weekly ritual... a weekly ritual that usually involves the figurative water-cooler phenomenon to foster discussion and fan-theories...
Not to mention, the entire season is dominated by one or maybe two fav sbows...
You spent the preceding weeks buzzing with anticipation for the season premiere while making sure to consume each scrap of promo, each soundbyte from the main cast, etc.
Nowwadays we just watch 7 episodes nonstop while cooking, cleaning, in bed half-asleep.
This is a seriously well done recap video! Everything is there... The video clips, the story synopsis, your fast delivery. It's 11 minutes crammed full of exactly what I was looking for!
Got halfway through this recap, then realised I’d forgotten how good this show was so I ended up just starting it all over from season 1 again, great video tho😂🙌🏿
