@corelle williamson what cameras have you owned that you can compare it to? Looks like a really interesting device but im skeptical of its performance.
@@trels203 I have a Nikon Z5, IPhone 14 pro, and I tested it against a micro 4/3 camera as well and when I say trust me depending on how much you pay and if you get the latest update it’s gonna be well worth it! I compared them to all of them and it stands up especially when you can get the full resolution using the computer software. Which happens to be the worse part of it all because it’s still in beta but it works.
@@trels203as a concert photographer, I bought this quirky thing for shits and giggles. If you expect too much, you will be dissapointed. If you are patient, you can achieve great results with this camera. It simply cannot compete with dslr and mirrorless at this time but for sub $200, I am beyond satisfied. Surprised, even. Edit: it is better than your iPhone
Via the Indiegogo campaign the Alice camera can be pre-ordered for an early-bird price of £550 (approx. $760) with a projected shipping date of October 2021.
There is no audience / consumer for such products. Either there are people who like phones or professional cameras. There is no middle ground.
Idk im a photographer but i also like to hike and the idea of a pocketable camera thats ultra high res for landscape photography is appealing.
What firmware you running? I just received a new one and it’s only running 1.3.0.5😢 I would love the newest software!
Thanks for the reminder boy has that changed! I now have the updated OS and it’s an amazing device!
