Nad is such an underrated artist. Look at him... What a talented musician!! He brings something new and fresh to prog rock. And this album will be as good as Widow, but I'm sure it won't get the recognition it deserves... And it's a shame...
I only recently discovered Nad through his work with Steve Hackett and Genesis Revisited, and am now checking out his other work. I LOVE this song! Takes me back to my youth and the original prog days, yet has a fresh and modern feel. That synth just never grows old, IMHO. So much goodness! I like several other tracks from this album too, so am on a quest to find it to purchase.

If you’re watching this video you will understand what I mean: WHY do we have to hide Prog??? This music (Nad’s being a perfect example) is incredible. It has depth. It has heart. It has HEFT; if this music were an tangible thing it would be a pyramid! By that I mean - not easy to make and not easy to move. I defy any tuned-down-a-step band to produce something so naturally heavy... and interesting.
Thank you NAD for keeping the original music coming. So much great music - Unifaun, Agents of Mercy, and this current deal for solo albums. The Hackett/Genesis performances are great too, but this original music is really where it's at.
Love it! Amazing evolution from Nad's first album to his second to this his third! I loved his last and wait anxiously for this his next release. Not many solo artists are able to improve and evolve in giants steps as Nad has done so exceedingly well. I'm so very PROUD!! Congratulations Nad!
i feel he even takes it to a whole new level with the genesis songs, like if the whole band ever reunited with a new singer, nad is the only logical choice to move things forward.
I am not a Genesis/Hackett fan, but I DO love Nad and his work,. its some of the most original and best produced prog out there :-) Love The Bride... my prog album of the year! :-)
I just heard about this music on The Prog Report podcast and had to look it up. Fantastic! How can I keep abreast of this new stuff? I'm still buying reissues and remixes of 70s albums, but this video sold me on this album. Sounds a bit Genesis influenced of course, but somehow even more prog with that wailing Wakeman-ish synth. And I enjoy the powerful voice.
Nad you are a genius, keeping prog rock alive by giving it a shot of adrenaline to it's heart. Fresh but allowing the true spirit of it's roots to blossom to new life! Will you be playing in the UK this year, if so I really want to see and feel the energy you and your music evoke.
