6 international pyrotechnic companies, all of which have already won prizes at the Cannes competition during the previous three editions, come back to face up in the heart of an “arena” worthy of this exceptional competition: a unique fire plan, expanded by the installation of a fourth barge in the bay. And for the first time, 3 Vestals * (gold, silver and bronze) will reward the best of them! To spice up the game, spectators will nominate their "Champion" by voting for the audience Award.

That's how fireworks work
The colors of the fireworks effects in the sky are created depending on the mixture of chemicals and salts used. Mixtures containing substances from the group of alkali metals and alkaline earth metals are particularly effective.
The alkali metals include, for example, the sodium, which we know in the form of common salt (sodium chloride) and produces the color yellow. Other alkali and alkaline earth metals such as potassium salts produce the color violet. Barium salts green, strontium salts red and magnesium salts provide white effects. Other groups of elements, such as copper salts, produce the blue color.
For this reason, it is important to experiment with the aperture when shooting fireworks. As we speak of light here, one of the effect colors is darker, the others lighter to very light.

The real winner ! I am french, I have seen hundreds of fireworks during the past 50 years of the Cannes fireworks festival… and this is truly one of the most amazing ones in the history of this Festival. It won the Silver Vestale, and the Public award...but it definitely deserved the Gold Vestale ! the Cannes audience totally disapproved the choice of the jury...
There's no better than the public's approval....!

The true winner and I think even the French people will admit to that! If the “gold winner” and Dragon fireworks competed in a different venue (elsewhere outside of France), this would have won.

I'm French I live in Cannes and I have seen all of fireworks in competition this year and this one was largely the most beautiful. All of my friends agree with me Dragon Fireworks deserved the Gold and public prize !

Also das war der schiere Wahnsinn! Ein tolles Feuerwerk, riesige Ghost Shells😮, die Wasserbomben😮 und auch sonst klasse Material. Ich hatte mich letztens über 4 steigende Kronen im FW gefreut, hier steigen sie gleich in Massen auf😮 Unglaublich gigantisches Finale... 😍😍😍 Auch die Videoqualität ist wieder Spitze! Oben kann ich leider nur einen Daumen geben, hier gibt's noch 👍👍👍👍👍 extra ;)
