You are right. This is Theo James's best work. I cannot understand why he would throw it away. Season 1 was the best acting I've ever seen. Both Rose Williams and Theo James gave the performances of their lives. Sanditon would have been a classic if Theo James had returned and finished this.

Oh man...knowing how season 1 ended...and seeing, especially from this edit, how she encouraged him to not be selfish, to love by action, not just speech, to do more for his brother...and ultimately that results in him giving up his happiness with Charlotte and consigning himself to a marriage with Eliza, whom he doesn't love. The chemistry of Sidney and Charlotte in series 1 was just a magic, not replaceable. You can not replicate it. I wish they would just end it with Jane Austen happy ending ....yes it would be short but sweet. Series 2&3 another story....

Mr Crowe comes out with some classics and there is always one isn't there? Andrew Davies has been very mischievous with these characters. Setting off in their top hats makes me absolutely hoot!
