Spike, you are the shining beacon of tiki stuff on youtubez and I am sure you are even more important in communities you engage with - you've already diversified your content and your show is for people who are genuinly interested in tiki culture - so fucking go ahead and do whatevever you feel like mate. Tiki is not only about cocktails and I am all for it to learn even more about other aspects of the culture. Your art stuff always intrigued me. So goddamn hell yea go for it broski, much love from Europe ❤
Agreed, from all the Tiki shows I've seen on the TH-cam yours it one of the top shows with the most views , I think only Randomland is up there and they only do a few Tiki related shows, and they are more Disneyland than Tiki culture like you are .
Any how-to's would be fun (especially lamps). Would you also consider a "new to tiki?" episode/series that would help people determine where to find the clothes and accessories crucial to creating a tiki persona, as well as how to find tiki groups and events near you. Many of us getting into tiki binge-watched all of your earlier episodes and took notes. Even something for those who are apartment bound on how to create a tiki space. You've already covered so much and are a valuable resource. It's a pleasure to learn from you.
Spike, if you do a Tiki DIY Lamp episode OR a series of them, I would love it!! I’m on my third lamp and I’d love to see how you do them since yours are ridiculously cool.
Yea tutorials on all kinds of stuff especially those lamps with the chunks of acrylic and the bottom of lamps with the acrylic. Trim carving lamp building all of it. Behind the scenes would be cool too and for gods sakes more sparky lol
Fun show! Touched all the bases: cork shtick, outtakes, sharing with us stuff you've done and received as gifts, and of course, an interesting cocktail. And yes, we'd enjoy seeing a behind-the-scenes Breezeway show! (Looking forward to our first bottle of Hamilton Breezeway Blend, too!) 🙂
YES!!!! all those side episodes sound amazing. I wanna learn how to build tiki stuff. How you make your videos would be interesting too. u could still talk about cocktails by referencing drinks/episodes and how things have changed throughout the show. it would be fun to see a behind the scenes.
I would like an episode on craving. I wanna try craving my own tikis and I need some pointers. But I'll watch any episode you put out. Hell, I'll watch it twice.
I like your channel best. You seem a cool dude, like a friend or fun neighbor. Not a pretentious “look how cool I am” type just because you have a TH-cam channel like the other drink mixer guys. I’m in Indiana and the Inferno Room is my favorite place to be. Thank you for the video about Max’s Hideaway. My wife and I plan to go this summer. Keep up the good work!
I absolutely want to see a behind the scenes video of filming, sound and lighting since I'm myself struggling with all of those. I'm also very interested in the gear/equipment you have even if we most likely have different models over here in Europe.
Abso100%lutely the episode about how to make/buy/do all the tiki decor. I have some things from here and there that definitely say tiki bar, but it needs more. How to do/where to get wall coverings and carved art, lights, any other tips to bring it together like a well mixed cocktail.... Obviously more trips to buy tchotchkies from Hawaii or the South Pacific preferably but u know... that few grand in airfare would buy a lot of wood and dried grass.... Here's a crazy thought: Spike's Cocktail Hour x Pimp My Ride = Spike My Tiki Bar. It could be a one minute segment at the end of every show where someone sends in a photo or video of their home bar and you give them advice on what they need to do. Like those people who give financial advice to people calling in on TV. Suze Orman. You could be Tiki Suze Orman. And sooner or later your regular subscribers would get to know the common elements that are required and you'd be basically doing tiki literacy for the whole world. Also subscribers could comment with their own feedback on the tiki bar shown if they had some other suggestion.
Definitely into some tutorials about lamps and burning trim. Also just general behind the scenes stuff sounds pretty fun. And Breezeway Rum with Ed? Oh yeah. I'm from Canada, but will drive to the States to get that.
What you should do is create a 2nd channel for your tutorials, and/or whatever else "non-cocktail" you'd want to create. That way your main channel can stay "cocktail", PLUS you'll have another channel, with other subscribers, and (possibly) more TH-cam revenue to help with creating content. Us die-hards would subscribe!
So many questions crossed my mind as I was watching...but first: I love that shirt, I'm sure it's vintage but who is the maker? I want to look for one! Next: I'd love to see behind the scenes and tutorials. Plus: I guess I need to start a TH-cam show so people will send me free rum and cigars! And: only two days of work per week? Time for more Breezeway parties! 😄
I’ve been wanting to ask you to do more videos on your processes for the show, but then thought the same thing, is that cocktail related? Now that YOU brought it up, do it! I want to know what gear you use and how you use it, etc. make a special episode for gear heads like me and for others to learn. Also the carving panels video would be awesome. We want it all Spike! ❤😊 -TheNewBeauhemian
Behind the scenes would be cool, but don't have it be too long or I'm afraid folks won't watch till the end. For DIYs, I'm 100% down! I have some lamps and a few things for the walls, but know nothing about making it all look like a tiki bar with proper trim, walls, and ceilings.
You should do behind the scenes and DIY videos, because that would mean more tiki content and that is always good.
Would be cool.... but a different channel. Spikes breezeway how to?
@@dilluminatusdarkbringer7538 the user base is already on this channel, that wouldn’t help him at all.
Yeah! Get Justin back on to do some Tiki carving!

Thank you so much!

Dark Door is amazing! Such an underated distillery.
Definitely want to see tutorials on lamps, trims, carvings etc. I know you’ve been saying that for ages. 😂 and now you might have the time.😊
I love the idea of you making the drink behind the bar, then come around to the front of the bar to enjoy the drink and talk about it. I dig that.
Yes! I create my own stuff for my Tiki Bar and would totally be into watching some DYI tutorials.
Yee haw! I've been waiting for tiki wood carving lesson! Can't wait! Ever since that short teaser some many months ago! Woot woot🎉
Yes! Lamp tutorials! Rad! 😎
I love the idea of you doing a behind the scenes show! And tiki carving tutorials.
Yes please. Awesome drink. Gotta go to that bar the next time we are in Clearwater.
Thanks Spike! Love the tiki-themed 1950's black and white camera registration. Reminds me of television sign-on back in the day.
I’d definitely like a “behind the scenes” episode, as well as the Tiki trim tutorial! Great ideas, Spike.
Thanks for the recommendation! Bar tiki is local. I watched this episode then had to run down and give it a try!!
Great show and behind the sceens would be great/how to
yes do an episode of behind the scenes and how you film everything please!
Spike, if you do a Tiki DIY Lamp episode OR a series of them, I would love it!!
I’m on my third lamp and I’d love to see how you do them since yours are ridiculously cool.
I respect you enough to request a What not to do in a backyard tiki bar segment.
Yea tutorials on all kinds of stuff especially those lamps with the chunks of acrylic and the bottom of lamps with the acrylic. Trim carving lamp building all of it. Behind the scenes would be cool too and for gods sakes more sparky lol

Awesome surprise with a midweek video! Thanks Spike!
would love to see a behind the scenes! Lamp tutorial would be rad. I love the one you made for the auction.
I love the episode. Yes I’d love to see it behind the scenes video. I absolutely love your personality and how real you are. Keep that up.
The AV game has definitely stepped up. Great production quality.
YES!!!! all those side episodes sound amazing. I wanna learn how to build tiki stuff. How you make your videos would be interesting too. u could still talk about cocktails by referencing drinks/episodes and how things have changed throughout the show. it would be fun to see a behind the scenes.
'Tight fit................................................She said.....' Barely caught that, Spike. LOL
Oh and please produce a video of carving trim....it might be interesting!
I had this drink at their bar this past weekend and my god, it was so good! That whole bar was excellent, with theming and service.
And just to update, our tickets for Tiki A-Go-Go have been purchased! See you there!
Awesome video Spike!! I love the outtakes!! Great stuff!!
I would like an episode on craving. I wanna try craving my own tikis and I need some pointers. But I'll watch any episode you put out. Hell, I'll watch it twice.
Nothing like a good craving.
“Behind the scenes” and “How to” would be awesome!

Can't wait to see you build the new Valcano.
Mid-week episode was awesome but made me think it was Friday for a second!!😮
Carving tutorials would be awesome!
Thank you for the mid-week episode Spike and yes, my wife and I would absolutely love to see some BTS videos and or videos of woodworking 😁.
Behind the scenes would be fun.

you've got some good ideas spike you should do them I'll watch
Yes on the behind-the-scenes stuff; how do we get that squid ink stuff? Great mid-week episode ❤
I’ve been wanting to ask you to do more videos on your processes for the show, but then thought the same thing, is that cocktail related? Now that YOU brought it up, do it! Yes !!! outtakes ...i miss those . Lol \,,/
So interesting.
Yes, behind the scenes!
"there will be a reason" yes!
Fun fact, several Rum distilleries use old whiskey barrels.
I almost guarantee this is the case for this Rummery.
The squid ink is going to add a bit of a salty flavor. The color is from melanin (:P). Sounds like a really interesting cocktail!
Behind the scenes would be cool, but don't have it be too long or I'm afraid folks won't watch till the end. For DIYs, I'm 100% down! I have some lamps and a few things for the walls, but know nothing about making it all look like a tiki bar with proper trim, walls, and ceilings.
Behind the scenes and you can still have a cocktail to make.
Day in the life of spike video… yes please.😮
I bet a big bill that the wild card black thing in the simple syrup is molasses; at least 1 of the blackish ingredients.
Dad's office was to the right. The kitchen was to the left.
Black pasta = squid ink. Quite normal. Behind the scenes, yes, fun stuff!
damnit i thought it was friday :(
Also this was a super great episode and i wish i could give more than one 👍🏻. Like a 💚 instead. Or... maybe a 🖤? 😲😎🤙🏻
