Great video and very helpful. BTW, we found that the filter has a thread on the bottom to allow you to spin an M6 bolt in to allow you to pull the filter out without resorting to the screwdrivers.
Question: The dealer says I have air bubbles in my ACE system and it needs to be bleed out ($800) on a 2016 RR Supercharged 5.0 with 77k miles. They Replaced the engine (cost $34k) 9 months ago and gave warranty on work. Luckily I had an extended warranty. Wouldn’t they have replaced the ACE fluid when replacing an engine, since you said it goes through valve block? Is it common to get air bubbles in the ACE system? Great Video by the way and thanks for helping the daily drivers!!! I’ve purchased parts using you guys and always get great service and shipping is quick, Keep it up!!!
Great video. I loved the kit bought from you guys. But my vehicle has 84k miles and I have the red triangle warning sign with a message that says “stop engine, stop vehicle, stop safely” and a c1119-62 dtc. Do I need to replace the entire relief valve block?
Actually, there is a dealer tool required to bleed the system. We've tried to bleed the system a different way without the tool and there always seems to be a little amount of leftover air in the system that can make it a "pop" sound occasionally when driving. We are investigating getting that tool added to our catalog now and will advise when available. Also, there is a good aftermarket fluid source that we use for this kit now (CHF fluid by Rock Oil - which is the same OE spec.)
Had today such fault code: c1b03-19 - intermittent - Directional control valve 1 and message "Vehichle lean When Cornering" - what I start to check? I understand its solenoids issue? If so then there more than one of them, how to test/check which one is bad?
Hello, thank you for this video, I have a Disco2 TD5 from 2002 with ACE. I just changed the front and rear cylinder of my ACE as well as the ACE filter. However, my ACE system goes into alarm and moves the vehicle in a roll before going off into a red alarm. Would you be so kind as to tell me how to adjust the cylinders after reassembling new cylinders, so that the ACE works again. Please use simple words because I'm French and I don't know all the technical words.
Hello, I’ve got a leak from the front anti roll bar. Can I use Lucas power steering stop leak to see if it will slow down the leak? Thanks for your time and patience.

Great video. Bought the kit Just want to make sure that the system doesn’t have to be bled at dealer.
Also I will be doing this with the vehicle on the ground. Will there be pressure then

atlanticbritish yes the kit you sent came with that rock oil
so what you are saying is that we can use the power steering fluid for the ACE system too???
Do u have a video of replacing this unit ?.
My dynamic control switch’s aren’t working . Could it be the module? I have driving issues
I have an 04' Disco without ACE, do i still need to use ACE power steering? Is there a good alternative when there isn't any availability locally?
Do this system runs from the same hydraulic pump as tandem pump or it has separate power steering pump?

On my range rover sport 2011 when I turn left the symbol of the motor with arrows over and the red triangle light comes on what's the problem

Hi where does the system get it's pressure from? Does it have a separate pump?
The filter has a 6mm thread in it. So just pop in a 6mm bolt and pull the filter out.. easy
Brother
Question please, if air entered ACE system while flashing it, there will be any issue? And what's the best way to remove it?
How do I download this kit ?
38mm socket needed?
What oil do i have to use?
Is this the same system in 2012 model.
Yes.
I thought that the system had to be bled afterwards with special tools ?
