@AsteroSSB im not a supre fan of the v-tech system, but man you have to hear the hillclimin' hondas. im a v8 kinda guy but those four bangers hit the right notes!

@haarsje No need for Honda swaps. Professionally build 2.0 16v will reach 9k revs + (see old F2 rally cars or Formula 3 engines) and C20XE is a really good base for a race engine: I imagine quite a few of those cars run that engine.

Some static footage (cars, drivers, servicing, the spectators) inserted every 3 minutes, would have given the eyes and ears a little break before watching the crazy-Opel action further. PS: Had 3 Kadetts, almost undestructable cars :D Except one, wrecked because of icy-road.
A lot of old timer engines sounds great once they get tuned some ... a classic is the Ford Escort BDA engine, or the Ford Pinto V6 engines, they make a beautiful sound, like Simon Finley's Ford Escort Mk II : watch?v=d01VBR5nKPw Toyota's 4AGE engine has a paprticularly sweet almost singing note to it once it hits about 6500 - 7000rpm. And the Toyota V8 engine, the 1UZ, also sounds great with a bit of natural aspirated tuning ... like this : watch?v=Ba8sT2BQ4uc
What kind of revs do these engines produce on average? They sound so high, but I can't really imagine them hitting +7k. Most aren't Honda swaps, right?
@LeChar1989 Auf den Autos hab ich die Mechaniker-Lehre gemacht :) Allerdings frage ich mich, wieviel an den Kisten noch Opel ist. Ich meine Kompressoren gehört zu haben ^^
@MPZRACEVIDEO aso na dann hab ich was falsch verstanden =) ich dachte es wäre hillclip wenn man z.b. mit einem Motorrad einen ganz steilen cross weg rauf fährt aber das ist es anscheinend auch :D
@Racecarwrecks maybe you failed to notice that behind the chicane are trees, not a field. If the chicane would not be there it would be a very fast right hand corner. That would be fine with a field behind but not with a forest directly on the outside of the track. You sound like you find safety a bad thing, and I don´t quite get what is so bad about protecting peoples lifes.

lasst doch einfach mal diesen Kindergarten weg... es gibt gute und schlecht vorbereitete Autos, Anfänger und Profis beim Fahren und vieles hängt auch vom Setup ab. Das kann mal passen und mal eben nicht. Aber eins passt auf keinen Fall, dass ein Fahrer besser dran ist wenn er eine andere Marke fährt... denn sicher fährt er hierdurch nicht automatisch schneller oder eine bessere Linie. Außer vielleicht die Rede wäre von Matchbox, dann wäre das ja was anderes :-)

@asshatnowhere159 In germany the "Risse" tuned C coupe kadetts put out about 290 hp. I think these should be fairly similar.

Chevy Chevettes with Pontiac Solstice/Opel GT/Saturn Sky LNF engines are SCCA B production legal. Too bad the oil pan is a front sump design.lol
