The double dongler is actually a common tool in tech circles, the official name is a "spudger". Usually the goal is to get the most durable material you can find that's still softer than whatever you're trying to wedge loose.

I am glad that you have continued this end of the year feature. It has some cool stuff that stood out to you and I may have missed on Funk FPV in 2023.
Let me express my honest appreciation for what you have done for our family since the first short I checked out a long time ago. I’m 80 years old, struggling with cancer and a bunch of other depressing miseries. You have brought so many belly laughs and real world memories that I can connect with. It still amazes me. Everyone who cares about me thanks you for lifting my spirits.
I really hope that you are rewarded for what you do. I suspect that $ is only part of it, likely a minor part.
Bless you for all that you do for so many of us who need it. Believe me when I tell you that you make a difference.

I think those breaker fuses would be really great for replacing a cigarette lighter fuse. Sometimes you plug something in you aren't expecting to blow it then it does or if you have an inverter or something wired in so you don't have to replace it every time you over draw.

Try railer brand bits. Their hex bits, torx bits, and regular screw driver bits are superior, in my opinion. The bit holders they come in are the best I've ever worked with. That includes the tool Trucks. I am a Crown Lift Service Technician and appreciate the information you put out. I can relate a lot to your videos and outlook about the job.

Those circuit breakers - Best use I ever found for them was for the fusable link on a bass boat trolling motor. The damn fuse would always go out at night, and I'd be trying to follow the wire with a flashlight in my teeth, while dropping the fuses in the dark. With the ciurcuit breaker, it was "set it and forget it". If it blew, I'd just have to wait a few minutes for it to cool down and it would be fine again. Saved me a lot of frustration!

The door holder… that’s genius. I have a glass door I often need to keep opened, and the darn thing opens right above a step so that you can only stick something in the 2 inches closest to the frame… we end up either just blocking the lock so that we can at least reopen it, or we block it with a larger object or tie it with some straps, which are all either dangerous or time consuming. I’m buying this thing.

About the circuit breakers, being a site mechanic like that is completely different than being a mechanic like yourself. Like at my job I have so much equipment to keep going and often don't have time to work on something that is only " partially broke". Usually after a while the part breaks completely and then it doesn't take as long to fix. The old sprayer on drive sometimes they always ask me if it's ok for anyone to drive to drive because I do a lot of field fixes and no one else would know how to drive it

The resettable fuse is definitely the way to go. Ordered a mini resettable 1.5amp breaker and attached two wires with connectors for that exact reason. Going through some heaters with an internal glass fuse.
Having been in a few of them running down what’s blowing the fuse. After running out of them on a job. Way easier to have a breaker to reset while doing that before replacing it with the glass one after the repair an heading out

Number 2 looks like a spudger on steroids. Not sure if spudger is a technical or industry term, but Clive calls it that and thats what pops up when I google it. They're a great tool when a prybar is too much and you don't want to run the risk of damaging stuff. Great for working off optics when they've sort of glued themselves on slides of powered hole punchers.

You mentioned that one of the things you didn't like about the Fat Ivan was that the magnet was recessed below the surface, and because of that, it didn't hold as well. Maybe the reason it is recessed is so it doesn't scratch the paint where you are putting it. But your point is valid, if you end up losing the Fat Ivan because it fell off, that wouldn't be good. Anyway, I will also add my thanks, you do great videos and give me good ideas for DIY tool additions. Have a great new year!

The door holder is great. We install granite and quartz counters by the thousands chiefly in commercial, commercial-residential etc. We have to open then hold open many many many doors while carrying the counters. Thanks for the tip.
Also, 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻, fucking bravo on 750k subscribers. I've been around since about 30k. It's easy to appreciate another man's dedication to his craft when he's does it well. Happy new year buddy.

Really neat stuff. The door propper-opener thingy would be something I will look into. (also I bought one of the old stools, its great for FPV at the park, and it fits under the seat of my MC)
Thanks for the vid, Happy new year.
P:S: What is the micro fixed wing craft on the wall behind your left shoulder?

That’s an old Hobby Zone Duet. I bought it way back in the day when I was first learning. Good little plane if they still sell them 👍🏻

The fat Ivan doodlebop I don't think would work with a continuous hinge, but I could be wrong

Hey man, we work on totally different equipment, but your recs have been great. I just got the handee clamp, im considering the 27 in 1 precision driver, and im going to buy that Fat Ivan, which to me sounds like a even dirtier version of a fission bomb.
I'm also trting to decide between the toughbuilt bag and "stack tech" set. Though i will say that i like that rigid's stacking set comes off the wheels, so you can put whichever box on the bottom you want, which means obly taking in the one box you need if youre like me and have like 5 different kinds of customers with kits for each one.

11:10 the magnet I believe is actually made to be mounted on a metal door frame (for use at 1 specific door)

Late merry Christmas and early happy new year. Yeah one 1/2 mile trip to the one unlocked door and the dirty look for disturbing the guy to escort you back to the work would make the purchase price of the fat Ivan well worth it. Blessings brother

Have a great New Years eve.
Man that Handee loks real handy. God knows its a pain in the butt many times to get the fingers well up there and then try to do some work. Instead you got that nice little tool that do one thing and do it well.

Ya where was that tool in my youth , I used to install carpet cleaning machines in vans , it get pretty tight needing to through bolt everything, sometimes had no choice but to use lags. First install I did the customer came back saying every time he fills up he smells gas 😂😂😂

The worst is when you got your hand in a tight spot and your fingers start cramping 😬
