Then just knovk it down smooth with a 400 and then 600 real quick and the. I always wet sand with a 800 and paint it with two coats of coler and let cure and then spray your clear. One thing mist that is even and covers everything you are painting, the n i do a second medium thick one that is my final gloss and that is a show quality finish usually unless the weather or trees get to it. Lol
That's trim black and does not require clear coat.

Time is money. By the time you remove the item, fill, sand, paint etc, and pay for glue and paint, you could just buy a replacement part. And the time is just to take off the old part and put on the new. It is a good idea if new parts are not available.

If you have the money to spend take it to a body shop and they will do the work for you! You are missing the point to the videos 🤷♂️
