I will add this to my project list. I'm a new knitter, I'm on my 2nd project, I have a baby blanket on the needles right now.
Everyone crochet and knits differently, people should just respect each person's way of working.
    Crochet is my 1st love.

This was one of the patterns I did when I was learning to knit again and made a few of them. They are one of my favourite for a knit dishcloth because of the texture. I didn't know about this type of cast on so will have to try it. You are right it isn't about the speed it is about the journey.

I’m knitting a dishcloth in garter stitches right now. This seems like a project I’d like to try next. Thanks for taking the time to show us all this pattern.

Dish clothes were my first several projects. I feel they are the perfect first projects because they are quick and imperfections don't matter.

Is there a benefit to this cast on compared to the long tail cast on? For example like in crochet when you go through the back bar it makes the first row look prettier, does the twist and transfer method create a better edge?

I have done 12 rows with you and now what? I must have missed something because my work is just that, 12 rows! This is my second item I have ever made. Where do I go to further follow you to complete this item? Help😢

Rewind the video to the 34 minutes and 21 seconds point, he tells you at that point what you should do to finish it.

Why not use markers to identify where you are to knit the 5 stitches?

Try using circular needles and knitting flat. I couldn't stand the banging of the long straight needles.

May be my phone but your hands and knitting needles and not visible cannot really see how you are knitting or pearl stitches.
