I really love how the audience can appreciate this for what it is, a fan film with lots of heart. It doesn’t need a huge budget to get the crowd cheering.
I love the hybrids design not to mention that watching the full movie was fun on TH-cam and trying to find goji73s voice in a character was a fun scavenger hunt
As much as I love wrath of the hybrid I always question this, why does kudajira have such smooth skin, it makes him look more like an amphibian than a reptile
I am not sure if I should fear this design or not take it seriously. Because all that tension built up to leave us with this stilted Broly-esq kaiju lookin' like an amalgamation of a Gigan, Evangelion, Biollante, Spacegodzilla, and Krystalak and coming down to ripping Jinpachi Mishima is losing major points if you can't find ways to achieve such a design.
I look back on this moment with so much love. Its a rushed, cringey, and all around pain in the ass to make fan film, but I love every second of it. From the opening scene to the final shots of Kudajira getting folded, you can really see a progression of talent. When i started, I knew next to nothing about animation. And towards the end i really started absolutely fall in love the art. I so hope to get another chance to work with the same team again.

Pretty sure Godzilla would have regenerated those lost body parts and healed within seconds after damage. But I will admit that was a fun and entertaining video.

I watch the video the other day buy corridor it's a TH-cam channel where they do their own mini movies and they have a sub show on their channels called visual effects artist react to bad CGI and on episode 7 they talk about buildings falling down for the movie 2012 it's the second half the first half is about cats the musical movie coming out but the second half they talk about the effects work in it and they mention bullet physics services it's open source but it adds friction to collapsing buildings because honestly the one or two buildings that I saw destroyed in this looks really funky and they show those examples in the video watch it I liked it wasn't bad but it is open source so it's available for you guys and it makes the buildings look better when they fall down in your next video all the luck and best wishes
