CORRECTION: GHIDORAH IS NOT RELEASED IN CHINA!!! I LIVE IN CHINA AND I CHECKED EVERY FIGURE STORE IN MY AREA THAT SOLD HIYA GODZILLA PRODUCTS, IT’S NOT RELEASED YET!
I think Monsterarts are being creative with those Movable spikes on Godzilla minus one and Godzilla 1972! "BUT" The situation is So.....Easy to fix for the Tamashii Figure Line! Godzilla has three rows of spikes going down his back Right well, One row of Godzilla spikes going down to the tip of his entire back and tail, All Tamashii needs to do to the very top of Godzilla movable upper spike is to Reposition that movable spikes slightly to the right or left, Depending on the lower spike just below the movable spike that isn't movable. Re, Reposition the movable spike the opposite of the non movable spike below that movable one. That way the spikes connecting together don't hit each other no matter how much Godzilla wants to rest his head on his back! Tamashii don't need to make Anything movable when it comes to movable spikes! Now for both the other rows of Godzilla spikes the same way as the middle section. Slightly move the movable spikes to the left or right and keep it that way so when Godzilla lifts his Head or neck there's NO need for any movable small spike parts. I just think Tamashii is being Lame for making this Easy situation harder then what it needed to be OMFG 🙄🙄😒 The same goes with the Sh monsterarts Godzilla 1972 and his movable spike on his back neck, apply the same thing and there you go! Godzilla can move his neck way up without hitting any spike if the movable spike just reposition the movable spike slightly to the right or left and that's it! Don't need Any Moving small pieces of crappy rolling back spikes! In the Statue Game, we want Godzilla spikes to be reposition slightly like this because it's called a Rubber Suit. Godzilla spikes are supposed to be crock it or shape weirdly like this to make the monster look more suit-like! Remember that Sh Figuarts Browser where his hair can move slightly back so his head can lean slightly up or the head of browser can move forward and the whole figure of Browser look like he broke head head on his body lol Call the News We got a hinge so browser can move his head back Slightly! Lol Naw!
Well, I think it’s a masterpiece. Also, most SH monster arts figures never lose their value they only go up. Peter Jackson’s King Kong space Godzilla, even samara from the ring or some of the figures. You can’t really get a hold of unless you’re really need to dump a huge chunk of money.
@@StevensToyReviews maybe king Ghidorah. The market for them stays pretty high because they don’t make them in huge numbers and the work that they do in the sculpting is amazing. They have a ton of articulation and if you were to buy a Custom figure like that, it be well over $500. So for the price painted finished in a box and ready to go I’m not gonna complain. I wish it was a little bit cheaper though.
Hiya Toys knocked their Legendary Godzilla outta the park-I learned about it from a JobbyTheHong review-, and I'm under the impression that the rest of their Monsterverse lineup is gonna be as killer.
I liked their Gigan '72 despite its fragility, but their QC is just too inconsistent for me to want to buy from them regularly, especially for the pricepoint.
After watching your review and many others I I was very worried about the QC when I ordered mine, but having mine in hand I think I lucked out. Dirt dry brushing seems very subtly compared to a lot of what I’ve seen and the eyes and teeth seem to be fine. With those issues subsided I gotta say I love the figure!
I picked this one up recently and man am I glad that I didn't get the issues you mentioned in the video. eyes look great on mine and the way they painted the details to pop out wasn't too over the top in most areas. Still gonna go in and do a bit of repaint but definitely agree with you when it comes to SHMA's current lack of Quality Control, for the price id expect a good product
Thank you for this honest review. I loved Godzilla Minus One so much, that when I saw this figure I pre-ordered this without really thinking. I'm new to the kaiju figure/toy scene, and after seeing the quality of this figure, this figure is very unimpressive for the price. I've cancelled the pre-order and will be waiting for the announcement of a Hiya figure. My money will be hopefully better spent on a better quality and better priced figure.
i wish neca still had the rights to godzilla. i know their figures werent the best of quality but for the price they were pretty good for me. I feel like neca would do alright with this guy but hiya definitely needs to step in
It feels like the Tamashii quality isn't consistent. Sometimes good, sometimes less than stellar, to put it nicely. As someone who got this early, I'd say this is more expensive than it needs to be for a size that's not as large as Shin but costs almost the same. I won't be getting any future colour variation or heat ray version since it's gonna cost more than this, and judging from other companies giving this a shot, they are probably better options and cheaper to boot. I definitely didn't know that the dorsal fin moving behind the neck is a feature and not loose parts. There's no indication on the box and no instruction sheet is given nowadays. Not to mentioned when I pop the smaller fin back, any slight touch will pop it right out. But I used regular glue and not super glue, so it's not permanent. At least I don't need to worry about it getting lost to the void.
EXCELLENT review. As someone who only started buying modern Godzilla figures with Super7's line, I am very curious what Hiya and Super7 are able to do with Minus One Goji. With that said - I have SHMA Minus One on preorder. it will be my first SHMA figure.
This is definitely Shin Godzilla all over again, although it's not that bad as Shin, but still had some issues. Gotta say, the figure is gorgeous itself, and I wished I got one because my Mom is finding a job after she lost her job a few years back
I’m still thinking that if I should really get sh monsterarts Godzilla minus one figure I really love this Godzilla design but I don’t know if it worth it to get
I fell like I want to get it anyway, the movie was so great that it makes up for all the flaws of the figure. By far the best godzilla film ever created. It was perfect
Scratch that. Just wanna get this one because the Super7 looks like it’s gonna be mid and the Hiya seems to be a nonexistent prospect. I’ll just get the custom head for it to help this fugly guy shine a little more.

I hope hiya will make one, i know that super7 is making this one, but i could only expect how it'll turn out seeing their previous figures.
CORRECTION: GHIDORAH IS NOT RELEASED IN CHINA!!! I LIVE IN CHINA AND I CHECKED EVERY FIGURE STORE IN MY AREA THAT SOLD HIYA GODZILLA PRODUCTS, IT’S NOT RELEASED YET!
ichibanso and super 7 looking really good rn
I prepared the super7 one any pictures of that one yet?
Only the renders and promo stuff
Nice reveal at 1:36 with the fading effect, amazing figure, I need this on my shelf. Respect yourshelf.
Wow what a great price for a great figure!!! Everyone should be adding this to their collection!! I know I am !
This is why I love your reviews so much. HONESTY. Thanks, I’ll definitely wait for a better option for the $$$$$ 🦖
Finally saw Minus One and, yeah… The movie was great! Will definitely wait for the Hiya Toys release and see how it looks and articulates.
Im actually surprised this guy is selling out as US stores! And I went to see if I could order him from Japan, the the prices are insane.
Well, time to pray to the HIYA gods for a Minus Goji!
I hope there will be a bootleg version that have a good chance to be better than the original
Just got my figure and they eyes are wonky as well :(
100% waiting on the Hiya. Haven’t bought a SH Monsterarts since the 1954 Release.
They’re probably not gonna do one
Lol Naw!
Heisei used to be my old favorite design Godzilla design but this is now my favorite so either way im going to get this
I really liked this figure
Looks cool
Well, I think it’s a masterpiece. Also, most SH monster arts figures never lose their value they only go up. Peter Jackson’s King Kong space Godzilla, even samara from the ring or some of the figures. You can’t really get a hold of unless you’re really need to dump a huge chunk of money.
You gotta explain why.
Also no, they do. There are some that do.
Hiya Toys knocked their Legendary Godzilla outta the park-I learned about it from a JobbyTheHong review-, and I'm under the impression that the rest of their Monsterverse lineup is gonna be as killer.
now i cant wait to see what the 72 figure looks like
I’ve preordered Minus Colour and Evolved. I hope they aren’t THIS bad.
Awesome Godzilla figure
I plan to go for the super 7 minus 1 godzilla.
I liked their Gigan '72 despite its fragility, but their QC is just too inconsistent for me to want to buy from them regularly, especially for the pricepoint.
Spot on. Thanks for the honest review! Rant is exactly what myself and so many have been feeling in the community. Love it.
Hey @Steven'sToyReviews are you saying the Super7 will be out by the end of this year? Oryou saying September 2024 when you say end of the year?
At least you guys get to watch this movie. No idea how long i'd have to wait because of their weird no worldwide release strategy.
so i found out how to fix it just paint it slightly more charcoal black + some charcoal brown + grey and there ya go the color of minus one
greeeat review, very complete and i appreciate to have 2 figures to compare.
i'm for sure will wait for hiya
One of the best videos ever thanks for telling us what to buy and what not to buy
Should we wait for the Super7 minus one figure or this one?
Thank you for this honest review. I loved Godzilla Minus One so much, that when I saw this figure I pre-ordered this without really thinking. I'm new to the kaiju figure/toy scene, and after seeing the quality of this figure, this figure is very unimpressive for the price. I've cancelled the pre-order and will be waiting for the announcement of a Hiya figure. My money will be hopefully better spent on a better quality and better priced figure.
Oh my, I love the movie and was close to buying one - thanks, for the saving.
i wish neca still had the rights to godzilla. i know their figures werent the best of quality but for the price they were pretty good for me.
I'm definetly only getting this if I can get it for cheap. Might need to learn how to do touch up paint
23:40 wow you just earned yourself a subscriber
Wait I thought the paint on his cheek was supposed to resemble the part of his skin that healed after the mine blew up
It is.
Gotta say, the figure is gorgeous itself, and I wished I got one because my Mom is finding a job after she lost her job a few years back
Personally my ones eyes are a 7/10 for being straight, and the mouth isn't sloppy with paint
I really like the look of the figure. Granted it has flaws it still looks incredible from a distance which is where I would have mine
I’m still thinking that if I should really get sh monsterarts Godzilla minus one figure I really love this Godzilla design but I don’t know if it worth it to get
i really wonder if the Super7 MO Godzilla fig will have better painting. From what the pics show...maybe. I hope better alternatives come to this.
I really hope Hiya Toys makes some Godzilla Minus One figures, and the same goes for 1954, 1984, GMK, and Shin
I'm hoping for Shin as well and possibly Godzilla 98.
Question will we wait for 2025 for the super 7 version or will the figure release a little early next year?
Eta is September right now
@@StevensToyReviews cool
23:40 - And im thankfull for that
I probably cancel this Order and hope for MG2 and
Space Godzilla
This figure looks better from a distance than up closer
On every website it said they cant sell it yet bc it’s not here yet
Glad i saw this. I saw the movie and really wanted this. But after this review i’m glad i havent pulled the trigger
I fell like I want to get it anyway, the movie was so great that it makes up for all the flaws of the figure. By far the best godzilla film ever created. It was perfect
Ah the eyes, one of the reasons why I bought S.H 2019 Godzilla figure was for the better eyes but mine ended up with a bad one.
Either I’ll wait for a Hiya, or see how the Super7 turns out.
Scratch that. Just wanna get this one because the Super7 looks like it’s gonna be mid and the Hiya seems to be a nonexistent prospect. I’ll just get the custom head for it to help this fugly guy shine a little more.
Thanks for the revivew. Im happy i didnt PO the figure.
I got this and part of the largest spine got chipped in the box
When I got it for Christmas the tail keeps falling off
bro they probably spent 15 dollars on the materials for that thing and machines make everything else 140 is absolutely insane
