No Print demo- Screen printing process

  • In this video, I demonstrate a technique developed by Lynwood Kreneck called the "No Print". It's named this because in the end it no longer shows any method of printmaking! It involves a wash-away method much like a sugar lift. I saw sugar-lift in the video but it's more of a soap lift.

    Materials needed:
    Burned key image on a screen
    black 2 or 4 ply museum board
    Prisma Art Stix Prisma Color Pencils
    Speedball Water Soluble Screen Ink
    Photo tray or sink
    Scrubber
    Dish soap

    Yoooo. When I first saw this I thought it was so complicated but this simplified the process a lot! Definitely trying this.
