Tuning/PCM Part 1

In this video I discuss the options on tuning a Ram 1500. This is part 1 of 2.
Diablo Sports is doing this a little different since the pandemic. You will first get your tuner (Trinity II) delivered to you. Once you’ve received your tuner it will come with instructions on how to acquire your unlocked PCM. Delivery time may vary on PCM. Once you’ve received the unlocked PCM you will go through the process of uploading your stock tune into the Trinity II (will be on part 2) once your stock tune is uploaded you will then swap out your PCM for the unlocked PCM. I will go into further details on Part 2 for this install. Your factory PCM will then be sent back to Diablo so it can be unlocked and re calibrated for the next person in line.

Not sure if it was a mistake or if your trying to do it but you should get rid of the background thing and the small video? Very very he’s to see and watch on a cell phone etc.. the bigger the screen or video the better. No one wants to see the graphics or stuff around a tiny little square video. Like your vids but can’t see them very good anymore with a tiny square in the corner to try and watch the video.

Did you have to go out to the truck and unbolt The PCM to get the calibration code ?

With the tuner, I’m guessing you’ll be able to go faster than 108.5 the vehicle is governed at. Good for you being law enforcement, in case you need to drive your personal vehicle to where ever. You will probably need some type of strobe lights on the truck next. Look forward to the next video.

Yes the PCM swap with the tuner will give you the option to eliminate the speed limiter. That will be the first thing to go. I’ll also be getting some custom tuning done to make sure the truck is running at its top performance. Stay tuned…
