Knowing that Kai this time was still injured . He was holding it in . If you see he can't jump properly or bend his knee as much like the others. His leg movements seems kinda stiff & he really was trying to be careful. He can't go hard. Everytime fans asked him if he is okay he will always reply in such simple way that he is 'totally fine' to not make fans worried. I'm so proud he can do such a choreo & looking so professional. He blends with the others without showing any kind of awkwardness.
Please support him for his upcoming solo debut on 30th Nov. He is really excited about it.

not related to it, but i think their album and bsides were super slept on this year. the production quality, the different genres, the vocals, the harmonization, the rapping, everything was amazingly done, the album has no skips. and like, people saying bts were the first to do a song in kpop about quarantine and the current situation and discrediting them, when we already had better days, together at home and with you way before... but anyways, the most important thing is that us fans are enjoying their work, it's better to not focus on the haters(basically, 90% of kpop stans), but i think people are really missing out.
so true, glad there are people who appreciate it and not focus on competition amongst this largely toxic part of fandoms.
I've noticed that unfortunately that fandom is becoming even more toxic, can we just appreciate good music and talent?
It's probably the fans who are only their fans if their names are attached to an EXO/NCT/SHINee song. I feel like if you already pick a bias, you are more likely to enjoy whatever they do, besides, it's not like they left their original groups anyway (if anything, it's the exact opposite with everyone focusing on their groups right now)
And they also performed With You months before the album came out, quarantine-themed for a stay at home concert lol.
Super One album is my favorite album released in 2020. All songs in the album are so good and have been on repeat on my playlist. Unfortunately, I think it was bad timing for SM to release this title track and album just days after NCT2020 was announced and months after Super One album was announced. The hype went down (dont kill me, just my opinion). I feel so sad because the songs deserve more love. Listen to their b-sides guys, you’ll love it!
You’re right Taemin just hits it differently. Everything is just that much more complex and graceful when he does it
I want to appreciate Baekhyun in SuperM. Lucas, Kai, Taeyong, Taemin, Ten, Mark all of them are lead/main dancer and center in their own group. But Baekhyun is the only who not a main dancer or center. And he can still manage to dance to SuperM's hard choreo + always hit that high note perfectly. That such a great work from him. He improves a lot better in dance

Kai seemed not like his usual 100% with this performance (and it's more obvious in the Kai focus video), cuz obviously he was still recovering from his ankle injury. And he seems tired too.
I hope he's fully recovered now, so we can see him dancing and enjoying himself 100% with Kolo next week! ☺

I was so confused about his injury because he did another performance seated, then he was out there performaning around the same time. I hope he was able to heal properly and didn't push performance more/too early.
I love Taemin’s body line! I think it has a lot to do with his incredible technique and the fact that he puts so much thought into tiny details, but also his amazing body proportions give him a huge advantage. He is slim, has very long legs and arms and honestly he looks like a contemporary ballet dancer to me - so elegant, yet so fierce! I just love his dance style, it’s very unique and mesmerizing.
yes choreo wise Ten was under utilised in this song. He’s always at the back or at the edge of the choreo but I watched his individual fancam for this performance and he’s so good despite members popping up at his fancam because he’s at the back.

it was revealed in their dance practice behind that they're supposed to be done with this song earlier but taemin took a lot more time to consider the dance, all their outfits and the details so yeah! you're right about taemin having influences for this song, the members said it so too

I think it would really be hard for SuperM to synchronize their moves since most of them now have their own signature style, they're not just fresh from the training room Idols. But I enjoy watching their individual focus cams. It's really interesting to watch how the song somehow changes when you watch them separately.
I totally agree. Each group has a distinct style with music, and they do for the choreo too. And now add in Super M to that. They are all strong dancers too, with their own way of moving.
For me it’s actually interesting to see taemin do those typical “boy group” dances which focus on how hard they go since he and shinee in general have a really different style from your usual boy group. but he bodies it he rly trained himself exceptionally well in so many genres and always keeps exploring and expanding his limits

You know Jeff, there's this issue with Ten's fans that he's never given enough lines in SuperM during their debut.. Now that he's given this opportunity to showcase his vocal, I think it's ok that he sacrifices some moment of dance because it's not always dancing in the performance, he is also a singer. I hope his fans won't complain anymore like why not give him the amount of dance... I feel bad for Ten also, but I'm glad that he's doing his best to excel in singing as well. Honestly, he has a good voice, and if he envisioned himself to perform and follow the footsteps of Taemin, he has that potential to grow big. He has to work harder like Taemin. I hope his injury is fully healed now because I missed those back flip and some acrobatic dance moves from him before.
This is would be unfair I think...just to get lines why would ten compromise with his dancing in which is superior than rest....I mean others are getting both the lines and the dancing spotlight whereas he is always on edges...
If you would watch most of SuperM's One live performances, you will notice KAI 9:39 do his jump on one foot. I heard that was because of his injury. Kudos to him for still performing so flawlessly! ❤
They are overworking themselves... Baek had a knee injury all through their tour, Taemin was injured around the time they released 100, and now Kai. They should slow down a little bit.
@@RiSaRx85 Baekhyun was injured? I hope he recovered well. As for Taemin, I think he is fine now but I think that injury had to do with his solo work at the time, less so SuperM.
@@glaciemdraco there's footage during the SuperM tour of him struggling on stage and having to need someone to lean on walking from the van to the hotel. These guys simply don't stop, their groups, their solo careers, Super M... And soooooooo much more.
@@RiSaRx85 I hope he is alright now, then. I don't want him to suffer any major injuries :( ... the unfortunate part is that the choreo for most of their songs can be a bit intense so I hope he is fine now... it's terrible but we can't do much but hope that they will be fine.

My eyes always go to Kai. His moves are always clean and sharp.
sm always did the shit for ten. he was debuted with nct in the very first unit which is the seven sense song but then they keep separate him and another members away and treat him badly in many ways. so until now he doesn't has a chance to win any award even if he was debuted for almost 4 years along with his friends in another unit. he deserved more good things 😭

About members executing moves differently. Style individuality aside, you should consider their positions. They tend to "underdance" some moves when they're not center and/or away from the camera, to save up stamina. Which would explain why some members don't go AS hard at times hhh
I'm constantly surprised by Kai's voice. I keep expecting something a little gritty or rough, but in he comes with that delicate tone! It's beautiful.
The one thing i hate tho is that at the end, lucas's part is cut short. 😖

Yeah, that’s my favorite part. They did the same thing on “Ellen.” I was very disappointed. The choreo is killer there, and worth the few extra seconds.
Lucas always gets short changed. It's so sad he's so talented.
I’m sorry, but I disagree about Lucas being “shortchanged.” He’s probably one of the luckiest guys on the face of the earth, and would be the first to admit it. He’s also the least experienced performer in this group, and there are of plenty of other, more talented singers, rappers, and dancers who would kill to be where he is. He’s a very handsome, very nice young man who has worked very hard get to where he is, and for that he deserves all the credit in the world. But let’s understand that he’s not a Taemin, or a Kai, or a Baekhyun.
The fact that he leads the dance at the end shows that the folks at SM have a lot of faith in him. Let’s try to appreciate that.

@@sheryll1536 Agreed with you, and in fact for a lot of this performance it's almost like Ten is seeing himself as just a background dancer? His movements are usually so big but here he's just kind of doing about 20% of his usual energy. SM are really using him wrong.

i don't know why SM has even released 100 dance practice, but not One 🙂 One is their main title track, but why there isn't any dance practice? they also did this with jopping .. sometimes i just can't understand SM ..... apparently, title tracks don't need dance practice in SM's opinion i guess ..
They did that sort of dance practice, only it was basically a behind the scenes of all their dance practices. But you're right, they do the most random dance practices...like EXO has barely a handful of dance practices, but two of them aren't even of tracks with MV's! Make it make sense?
It's SM style, they doesn't really formed group with like robotic synchronization movements. But they have so many great dancers.

Yeah, there are some heavy hitters on the dance side in this group. So I attribute that to they haven't had enough time to dance together. Just an example of 2 members... Taemin and Taeyong have different styles in general but I can absolutely see how if they had the time they would adapt their movements to match. Like in SHINee there are places I see the members working their own style and then in other places they move as one (like Taemin doesn't just Taemin it all the time).... that takes time and practice to build. If this was a full time primary group the level of dance would be 10,000/10 it's already 5,000/10 for me. Also, I honestly didn't realize what a great dancer Taeyong was until after experiencing this comeback and then taking a deeper dive into NCT and seeing him on his own a bit. I'll blame that on how stacked SuperM is with talent...can't decide who to look at, not even my biases.
@@sunoosmom4011 my main worry when thry got together was how are they going to work together as a group. Because all of them are distinct dancers in their own groups and even in NCT, Lucas and Ten in WayV have a slightly sifferent groove compared to 127 hard hitting style. KAI is a sharp dancer, and Baekhyun has his own style too. But to see them come together, even with Taemin's very unique style, this super group is one of the most versatile performers out there. They just mesh well together. Their team dynamics has grown so much too. It helps that the hyungs are so approachable. SUPERM is like a mentor mentee gsthering. With the how the group was formed, it is highly possible that the group was built around Taemin, based on accounts of the conversations he had with Lee Soo man and him as thecfirst member selected. These boys are handpicked for a reason, 3 are already soloists, and Mark Taeyong and Ten very likely in the near future. Even Lucas, being least experienced performer, has such a strong presence and charisma. Lucas just needs to find his identity as a performer for him to embrace his future soloist self.Markyong definitely i think already solidified their performer selves. TEN is a great dancer, and is coming to terms with his vocalist self. And Lucas will definitely follow through soon. The future for all SuperM members is bright

Something about Mark is so Hiphop.... He dances so Hiphop and even offstage his mannerisms are so Hiphop... You can totally see him shine as a dancer more on NCT songs because NCT’s genre is hiphop.

I actually always have the feeling that Ten is "super under-utilised" in SuperM. I think he doesn't have enough weight in most of their songs, in either singing or dancing roles... I love SuperM and each and every member but... yeah, it would be nice to see Ten 'showing off' his amazing skills a lillte bit more from time to time 😋

Kai was injured that time and he was trying not to put too much pressure on his injured ankle. You can clearly see it on 13:30 but he still did great 😭 All of them did great actually 💕

I love that about SuperM, they’re dancing the same choreography but each member makes it their own, with their own distinctive style (also see that in SHINee and NCT), i find it boring when every member of the same group dances the same like robots, i feel like there’s nothing interesting in that.
I believe Kai's still recovering from an ankle sprain here so he was kinda doing some shortcuts towards the end. But all in all, I love ONE choreo. 🔥🔥

i kind of disagree about everyone in here being a great dancer, i mean they are all able to execute the dance well after months of practice like most idols but there are definitely members that stan out in dance compared to some others. i wish they didnt shove ten in the back a lot, you are right they are under utilize but i just find his style so fascinating so my eyes naturally are just drawn to him either way.
