2024 Bowman Chrome Baseball MEGA Boxes! Are these boxes worth $45? First Look!

- With the MLB Playoffs starting today, I had to rip some Baseball! I grabbed the newest product on the shelf at Target this week, 2024 Bowman Chrome Baseball Mega Boxes even though I have not had any luck with these in the past. Bowman is fun for any Baseball collector with a nice mix of current pros and prospects, but at $45 a mega box, are these boxes worth it? Can we pull more than just base Mojo Mega Refractors in these mega boxes?

Just 2 packs makes the $45 box. Hit or miss. Big gamble
Nice rip.. Bowman Chrome is my favorite. I’ve had luck with mine opened 4 so far and got a lot of solid bowman 1st. I also received 2 bowman 1st autos as well they might not be much now hopefully it climbs but also could tank.. it’s the hunt we chase.. thanks for sharing

Just got a raise at work. Treated myself to 2 mega boxes. Had to order o line because nowhere near me is gonna have them in store. They get delivered tomorrow and I can't wait.

For fun there was a PCA and Merrill base chrome card as well as a Merrill “mojo pack” chrome. Not as many international prospect cards as I thought. It’s Chrome. It‘s Retail. It won’t be in any SoCal Target. Impulse buy for me if I “saw one in the wild” as I’m actually content with Bowman’s base retail blaster and mega offering.
I think the Merrill Mojo was the best card pulled. I had to pick a few boxes up to give them a try, but not sure if I am going to buy any more of the mega boxes. Thanks for watching, much appreciated!

lol … I ordered 4 from Topps on their pre-sale … I think now I remember me thinking last year that I would never buy them again.
Ordered 5 boxes. First mojo pack had a Yamamoto Auto /25. Monster hit! Another auto and a couple of parallels in the mojos. Good spread of base rookies.
Just realized it is an image variation autograph 1:1,700 packs. Got soooo lucky

No color in 2 boxes is pretty rough, but the inserts are nice with the mojo design. Great video, might need to try a couple of these boxes out

I was thinking the same thing before I bought these, but wanted to rip a few to see how they were. Hobby boxes are right around $250.

You are correct, there were no 1st Bowmans in the base packs. I didn't realize it until after I recorded the video, but it would have been nice to have a few in there!

3 boxes and the collation was awful. Two exact same packs in two different boxes.
Did you buy online or retail store...just curious? I ordered 3 from Topps and they were just delivered yesterday. I haven't opened yet.

Why are there no prospects in the base packs?
Have 3 coming today, won't buy again.
I was wondering the same thing. I didn't realize it while filming, but noticed that there were no base prospects and a handful of cards had glue or something on the fronts. These mega boxes are all about the Mojo packs, not my favorite way to open cards, but always have to open a few to try to get the guys I collect. Good luck with your boxes! Hopefully you can pull an auto!
