Why you didn't add thickener like guar gum or xanthan?
I will definitely try this formula… I don’t see a thickener for this formulation please 🙏🏾
It doesn't have a thickener.
Can I add herbal powder in it
If yes then how much can I add and how to calculate that particularly
0.5% if it is a standardized herbal extract (meant for cosmetic formulation).
If not, use it at 5% - meaning 5g for 100g of product. or 0.5 g for 100g.
Hm...with this receipe you will end up with a watery and only veeery gently cleansing something. The active matter is just at 5.3%. That is very good for face washes, but a little less for a good shampoo with a decent but gentle cleansing effect. There is nothing in it that helps to thicken the shampoo. Decyl Glucoside alone in this small amount cannot do this. You need something like xanthan gum to thicken it if you don't want to use other surfactants in addition that can thicken with salt, for example.
Not all shampoo are made to be thick. Thanks for your suggestion
I asked the same question but was referred to the their site.
