Cardboard boat 🏁 races! I used to teach at a school that had a swimming pool. You can already imagine .... At the end of the school year, we would work it into the lesson on buoyancy and have the students build their own boats using just cardboard and duct tape. Great lesson in buoyancy. They needed to calculate volume of water displaced, weigh themselves in pounds using a bathroom scale, do the necessary conversions, etc. They always had a blast
Thanks TYLER. I LOVE YOU. I think you are awesome. You taught me something that I asked my teacher about before we did our mid term. I bombed my mid term because my teacher did not answer my question.
A substance has a known density of 2.15 g/cm(cubed). How many grams of the substance would you need to acquire if you wanted to have a 15 cm(cubed) sampled? Can someone help me answer this and tell me how to solve it?
Is this considered advanced ? This is a simple problem that we learn in 10th grade in my country and its nothing compared to the real advanced problems about density .
Okay so I’ve watched a few of these videos and I’ve tried many different ways to find the answer to a problem on a review for my final that’s tomorrow! So can anyone help me I want to be explained how to do it not just given the answer. So here’s the problem Helium has a density of 0.017 g/L. What is the volume of a weather balloon that contains 38 g of helium ?
always round to the amount of sig figs of the least accurate input value so you did it right. e.g. 136.658 (6 SF) x 68.1 (3 SF) = 930.1098 = 930 (3 Significant Figures).
Idk I wonder if I'm the only one who thinks that he slightly looks like Ben Platt or maybe Colten Ryan ... Got this from the Musical :dear Evan Hansen XD Also I appreciate ur videos
Hey are you there? long time here is your answer maybe . I know you forgot the question itself 😊 . By the way where you're stalled right now which job you're doing. Ohh forgot to mention the forgotten question answer 3.625kgper l
11 years later I’m here. Thank youuuuu ! Your videos have helped me sooooo much
I swear u the best of chemistry teacher , u explain good...

Thank you so much! I have a Chem quiz tomorrow and this video helped me!
You're really good at explaining chemistry I learned a lot from you!😊

this guy is the goat teacher
Thank you so much! You are a gift for my educational survival!
Such a gifted man!
Sir you make videos on
Units and measuments
very helpful videos. how to find the density of a crowd in places when they are not moving and how find density after they start moving?
do u have one about finding the mass ?? but given length width and density and thickness of a rectangle ???
this is great! If i would have seen this problem on an exam i would have been lost. My professor is worthless.
Great man😄😍😄

no
15cm3 x 2.15g/1cm3 ( the cm3 gets cancelled out so it's basically just 15 x 2.15)=32.25 grams
I tried with my knowledge of Density.
2:18 youre not gonna include the zero?

A rectangle has a width of 4.2 cm, height of 1.9 cm, and length of 8.8 cm. If the mass of the rectangle is 64.6 g, what is its density in g/mL ?
0.92 g/cm3 or 0.92 g/ml
Dude rectangles dont have heights. You must be talking about a Cuboid.

Bro did you pass your finals???
Momina Ejaz yeah lol thanks for asking I got a final grade of B in the class lol
sir do you teach physics or can you tell me is there anyone you know who teaches physics
you re the best
Tyler i need your help what if you don't have the same number of significant digits? Do i round of to the one that has the least?

I don't understand how do you move the deicma????????
Bhai Itne Easy Questions India Mein Nahi Milte
JEE advanced is fucking hard!!!
what if the units of the length, width, and height are different?
no
Tyler Dewitt, are you a teacher or just amazingly good at teaching?
no
thank so much! so helpful
Can anyone help with finding density in certain temps?
no
Thank u so much its helpful
If the dimensions of the object are in one sigfig how many sigfigs in answer?
no
thank you so much :)
Thank you so much
so helpful
U should convert to SI units
Thanks
Thanks an Ocean !!!
